Do you mean a time of 7:28.666 because 1:28.666 is low flying .

3rd gear with a full battery charge in TS030 is like some kind of warp drive, wouldn't be surprised if it's the fastest accelerating RWD car in the game.. until battery runs out

Thanks @TRL_Andromeda for the fantastic tune. I will look into changing the gears a little to make sure the highest part of the HP curve is being hit in the high speed flat out corners (after the jump, sector before carousel, and final straight), I think that should bring a tenth or two. Cheers.

I think the TS030 should be little faster this time with warmer track, but obviously 2J got bigger advantage but man the setup I had last time here feels so horrible, just setup changing all the time at the moment and still can't beat my PB lol

Yet this Japanese guy just having a ride of his life

Can anyone explain the sequence for changing the transmission? What to do 1st?

For eg; Final gear - max speed - gears - final gear etc.?

there's a lot of different ways to do it. Some people do max speed, individual gears then final gear. Others put the final gear on the middle first, than max speed, than individual gears and finally final gear again to suit the max speed to a certain track

8:11.369 in the '95 McLaren F1 GTR Le Mans winner. It was a pretty sloppy lap that even included a half spin - to a complete stop - on the approach to Kallenhard. Nope, I don't know how I managed to spin there either :dunce: Seems like this isn't the world's hardest seasonal...

With a few tweaks to the setup, less mistakes, and less caution, it ought to be easily capable of a sub-8. I'll probably try some other cars first though.

ETA; that was running stock power/weight as ever. I don't think it even got an oil change.

Not sure if this is a good time, didn't see many GTs, and it will be lower now as photo was from yesterday but it was fun !

Nurb Gt40.jpg

Won't be touching the 2J here, nor will I be making myself sick of the track and car (a'la the Fuji GT500 TT :dunce:) but plan to cycle up through some cars before going for a proper time in the TS030, top 75 being my aim I think, I'm not bad on the longer lap time stuff :)

Can't beat a good old Green Hell TT 👍

*edit for spelling/missing words/usual written language incompetence !

Very good lap. I often follow your ghost, but this time it's far away.

thanks brother. For someone who uses a DS3 you're very very fast. In my friends list my battle is always with you and Igor. But Igor it's not of this planet so we can just follow his ghost at a distance :):)

Thank you. I think I've not finished with Toyota yet, may can improve something, but of course I will try with 2J too.

Quite curious to be able to lap the same time 7:22.977 with 2 different users / tune.
On lfm_58 I'm using, simply updated for 630pp, the very good @hotsaucer tune from the recent Suzuka TT.
On my 2nd account (lmm_95), this morning I was testing for comparison the Nurburgring 24h hotsaucer tune shared during 2016 TT event.

Please don't ask me which one is better yet...

ciao

What downforce on the Toyota. 4 hrs last night could barely complete a lap. I know there at least 5 sec there but i'm missing something, besides ability.

:D And I can get up ~1.5, but just can't finish. Too tired right now.

It's doable. Just barely. And it's fun.

Posted a 1:48:588 for an approximate 1200th rank in the Minolta.

Referred to Priano's tune for the Minolta. Couldn't adjust the transmission as per the setup but other things did make a good difference.

Also drove this lap thinking with a 'who cares a damn' attitude as this helps remove any apprehension.

Will try the 2J tomorrow, which had helped me get a top 500 rank in the previous similar TT.

It certainly does get loose. And I think it's only good for 1 mph more down the long straight. Not sure if it's worth that.

I figure if I can still floor it through a couple places I can keep backing off the downforce but it doesn't seem to work that way.
