What shall we do about tyre wear?

Wow the -10bhp makes more difference than I thought, 51.3 for London and a 1.48 I think for daytona :nervous:

I hate London, London best in the moment 50,28 now.
Daytona i must test later.

Especially seen as he hates this track and is using "almost" stock setup  I mean 0.4 faster than everyone is a dreadful time, he should be hours infront :D

I can see a lot of crashes happening, one because its really hard to overtake, worse than Madrid! And two because its really easy to hit the walls by going wide and get stuck blocking the track :D

im not looking forward to this first round, havent had a chance to prepare at all having been working muchly and swapping ps3's aboot, it should be an......."interesting" one for me lol

I am shockingly bad at both these tracks... Especially London, so it's going to be bad start to this championship for me. Lots of chassis straightning coming up. :nervous:

:D at these comments. I am exactly the same, no practice and no idea
Thats the beauty of it, I dont care if I lose as long as I have a race with someone :)

I'm going to have to pull out of this one, I feel like utter 🤬 plus I'm extremely tired, so at the moment I have the reactions of a dead nun. I really don't feel up to it.
Have fun 👍

My screen froze while I was in 3rd and I was actually closing the gap to the leader at the time :banghead:

Pagey- I just saw your post, use this one as your dropped race but it would have been good to see you racing Immortal :D

Wordup- Unlucky mate, a dropped result for you. Your car stayed active driving on the grass for ages, I did wonder what was happening :D

Had two great races :D Had a good battle with squeek and wordup in the first race, as well as mike and brett at points to come 3rd overall :) Then in the second race, and a great battle with immortal all the way up until the end of lap 13, managed to keep him behind me with a lot of defensive driving but once he was infront with a bit of a gap, I couldnt do much more :) All in all good night, think the Mercs closer too 👍

maybe we should introduce a ballast for the podium placements? ;) lol

good racing by everyone, particularly enjoyed the first race as i genuinely thought i would be at the bottom but came fourth with a good little fight from sluuuuurgemond lol. the mercedes had the edge in and out of the first corner which i just could not compensate and could really feel/see the differences between the two cars. in the last section i could catch up but if he kept close, which he did, it was a complete no brainer.

the second race was controversial for me, as i got hit and hit others in the process, but i also hit shukarakakaaaakree sorry forget the name, and waited 10 seconds for him to come back on track, so was damn as near it dead last.

by the time it came to pit i was 7th or so, and when i pitted it took me through the pit lane, didnt change my tyres and sent me out the exit!

obviously i had to come back round for tyres so that was pretty much it, i was dead last, and gutted! i felt i could run strong at the road course but it wasnt to be.

anything i can do regarding the failed pitstop as i had lost a good 15 seconds or so from going in there?

I don't think you can do much about the pitstop, as you went in flat out. For these cars I think anything over 80mph at Daytona would be risking the game giving you a drive through or holding you in your pit box for a 10 second penalty.

Can anyone confirm if Tyrrel was in race 1? I dont have him in the results for some reason?
