I am not going to be able to make it this week. It is a shame because I have a car that will run low 44s. So all you guy running 47-48 keep looking for a lower weight car. The car I found weights 1001kg and has 501hp.

Low 44's is great.... was that on racing softs?
 
That was on mediums. After that last race I am giving up on softs:)

I did have some high 43s but I had to put a wing on it to make it controllable and that knocked about a half second off my times.
 
Well I'm getting consistant mid 44's on medium tires offline....... online it does 45:1xx consistant.

I just got finished with a test run online trying to do the whole 35 laps......... people, this is gonna be a mess :nervous:

44's 43's what in gods name are you people running? my best is a 45. 4 with a controller using the joystick. i think i may go with a slower more stable car. for the fact a lot of unintentional bumping may be happing. do to the nature of the track, for thous using a controller.

i should have the room open around 530 on sunday.
 
Yeah I am curious to see which car this is too. 43.XXX is a NASCAR lap time! Granted 41.XXX - 42.XXX are more common but still.

Well that sucked 👎 Running in first place and I lost connection to the server :grumpy:
 
At least you didn't have someone who was sitting on the sidelines for several laps decide to jump in with the car they couldn't handle on the corners and wipe you out while you were in the lead. Me, Boshuter and SoCalFelon had a tight competition going on until Boshuter was DC'd and I got knocked to kingdom come by Sommer78 who sat in the grass for part of the race until the last 10 laps or so.
 
Yeah, I wasn't sure who that was... but that was totally uncalled for. 👎
 
Ya that sucks Boshuter, and the only reason I was "In the grass" was from a PIT maneuver from Oliie78 on the 6th lap, once I got back up to the lead pack all I wanted to to was unlap myself, Oliie78 didn't want none of that so decided to slam the door on me on the start/finish line corner. causing us both to wreck.
we had passed each other successfully before a couple times and had a good draft going on.
It's interesting you comment on me not being able to handle my car in the turns since you rode the wall for a good few laps, probably because your tires where not heated up quite yet to keep pace.

if you want to race aggressive like that you will wreck yourself and more people because of it.
anyways lets hope more people how up for next week=D
 
Sommer, watch the replay. I saved it myself to review. You were up and down on each curve everytime you took a curve, unable to hold a line. When you came back you were driving like you stole it:) Boshuter and SoCal, I'm sure, can vouch for the crazy corner driving on your behalf. I'm by no means an awesome driver, but I sure make sure my driving doesn't impact others the way yours did on Daytona.

I think you should watch the replay.

Ollie78 and I ran side by side or nose to tail the whole race and I was never concerned about him hitting me...... you were all over the track, when you went by me I backed way out simply because I knew you were either going to hit someone else or just crash. Check the replay, it will be obvious.
 
Sorry I was late getting back home guys. I must have run about 75 laps practicing for this race and I was so bummed to have missed it. I came and watched you guys race for a few laps. Was surprised that there were only 5-6 people racing. My team mate's PS3 broke last week. Dont know how long that rules him out for.
 
i think we should have everyone answer if they will make the race or say they will miss it on this forum like by wednesday and whenever we have people missing, the ones waiting for spots can race and be on the board....we have 20 people who want to race and we can't crack 10 during a race...gotta fix something here
 
ya thats my bad. there is a flu or something going around out here, and I was out cold yesterday. shouldn't happen again.

After watching your camera view today, thought I'd help your memory. On lap one you started by rubbing the wall, sparks galore. Lap 6 you came in high and in the attempt to not hit the wall again you lost control and spun out. There was no contact between us only seen from your camera view . Was initially inconclusive from my view so I had to watch it again from your view. Lap 13 you lost control twice with no one around and ended up in the grass twice, at which point you pitted. Up to lap 24 you zig zagged from the wall down across the yellow line. As happened in lap 6, you lost control by avoiding the wall and took both of us into the grass.
If you'd like to see the replay, I'm sure there is a way to share it if you didn't save it yourself.
Anyhow, ready for a course with more turns :)

So weird, one of you didn't show up in the race in my screen. We were 5 till boshunter vanished. so weird...I saw two rx-7s one TVR and a corvette and my r8
 
Some were missing on the initial screen. Wasn't until I started the replay did I see all of us. Boshuter dc'd with about 8 laps to go...that really sucked. Would have been nice to add some points to our team score :)

We will stick with a normal standing start for Monaco

If you are a reserve driver your are still invited to come race has we will not be anywhere near the 16 driver limit

At the end of the season racers that have raced 3 or more races will remain in the series. The rest will be kicked out and reserve drivers will be bumped up
 
Will there be a race Super Bowl Sunday? I realize not everyone is into football but most people congregate for the fellowship at a minimum for that game.
 
I am a reserve driver and will be on for the race.

Not a football fan but I am sports fan so i would appreciate the same treatment if the championship game of my fav sport was on sunday. I think major sports events should be reaceless Sunday's, if not I'm in
