A MGS4 Question

Hi I just got MGS4 and am loving it but just have a quick question. Is the game meant to do a 2 minute install every time you play the game?I have already installed the act i am on but when i turn it on it has to install again.

You have to install everytime you start a new act (or load a save on an act you weren't on last time you played). You shouldn't have to install the same act twice if you were on that act last time you played unless you deleted the data for it (which you would know if you did).

That's weird then because I am on the same act and have not deleted any data.

It is weird, I can't think why you need to reinstall it everytime you go on the same act if you aren't changing act. I can't give a solution I'm afraid.
