Ran it twice with the Elise '96 at the PP limit, full power but with no weight reduction and some ballast. First one I had the Rocket which I won by about 5 seconds, second try with no Rocket was really easy. If you get a field without the Rocket then you'll not have much trouble, even in quite a slow car, the Seven Fireblade has really tall gearing which slows it down a lot. Last try was 8:06, could drop that a bit if I didn't get held up in traffic at the start and while lapping a few cars at the end.

Any premium Elise should do the job, loads of turn in on SH which is really helpful on this track. Fun event.

Tuscan speed 6 1st Place against the Rocket :D
total 8:13.687 0.457 gap
best lap 1.30 high

this was hard for me ... maybe setup was too stiff but i dont like it too much moving

Elise 96 vs. Rocket
won with 8:11.999 and a gap of 1.283

This one suites me more ... I have to reduce a bit oversteering her and understeering there and this will be good for a 1.29 i guess

UPDATE 8:09.645 best Lap 1.29.1xx and ther is still i bit more for me. I like the Elise :)

Wow. Finally got Gold.
Wasn't as easy as some of the steroid guys said though. They lied. Ran a couple races well.
Tried the Rocket a number of times last night. Most I could make was about 3rd I think.
Then today tried the Seven Fireblade '02 tuned. Was impressed with how zippy it was but still only could manage average 4th.
So then I went back to the Lotus Elise 111R '04 just now with Brewguy44's 500PP tune and added extra power to 520PP and finally got Gold. This time there was no Rocket in the race though. Mainly some Elises and other cars but I'm settling for the win. Go me. Now on to some other Seasonals.

Clenched this running a Rocket at 202hp at the PP limit on the last straight, my tune was literally comprised of Hard suspension, Transmission that ran out of puff at 135 and a reliance mainly on a diff taken well down in sensitivity. Pretty much just ran all 1:31's, could be better but it got the job done.

Very stock like? :scared: For a person who has no idea what they're tuning maybe I'm just making it worse?

Stock FC suspension, but zero camber and toe. Fully lightened. Power is at 53.1% and transmission is (reset, then) full left max speed and 2.850 final. Rest is untouched.

Car is awesome once you get in the groove.

I've tried to balance the weight and power a bit so theres still some go maybe your way plus supension is the advantage. Either I love how simple that is! 👍

8.07.9 with Elis 111R very constant laps 1.30.3 - 1.29.8 but not as fast as '96 with similar setup

Won easily with McLaren F1, 20 sec to 2nd place. 1:31 as 2nd to 5th laps was more that enouth. I believe I was lucky, because I tried rocket - and 1:30.500 finish second at best.

44 second gap. 31, 28s then a 27 lap.

So close to the 57s I can taste it.

Edit: Guess I decided to skip the 57s altogether.

Freaking fantastic car.

@coryclifford and I can attest to the fact that its not much of a race if the Rocket doesn't show up. I got two 1:27 laps with a best of 1:27.004. The fastest lap for the losing Elise was 1:43 something. Yikes, what a lousy photo :indiff: My time was 7:58.634 and the Elise was 42.951 seconds behind.

I have more fun with the TVRs and the Esprit 350 here, but I am faster with the Rocket and Mclaren. I have tuned the Rocket's engine up and down, I like it best with all the parts and power limiter. Seems to go almost as fast on the straight and pulls better when rpms drop.

Me thinks D. Papp and his Rocket are beginning to get weary. Didn't even tune the suspension, just put on racing hard and set the FC gearbox to 155mph. Got a couple laps at 1:29.782 and 1:29.761.
