This race is not easy.

take the 2J with the short Willow tt setup and you destroy it.

I found the AI pretty aggressive here. I actaully took someone pretty unsportsmanlike, it seems he didnt like it and forced me off line a bit and I lost a lot of time and it took me almost half a lap to catch him again. This race has a pretty clear delination from the backmarkers and the racers at the pointy end who actually have a chance.

I'm going to try this in a JGTC car or something not LMP1. I tried the HSV010 and I think the best I got was 3rd. At 1,100kg plus they carry too much over the LMPs.

Anyone have any luck with the golden oldies like the Jag XJ13 or Ferrari P4 330? or the Mines R34? Too slow?

Just tried it with the XJ13 Chrome Line with a basic simple tune that I threw on it. Lots of room for improvement, if I wasn't so lazy in tweaking tunes!

Not bad, not fast, gets left behind on the straights most of the time, but corners good. Not the hardest field either.

I always ask this to those who win with the Auto Union. Do you use a wheel or DS3? I use a wheel and have limitations with my hand/fingers and can NEVER get that Auto Union to turn... NEVER!

Beyond easy with it completely stock and just power reduced. P1 very early against the TS030 even.

I decided to do a test to see how much faster the AI will go if you bump one driver/car the whole race. The difference will probably shock you. I decided to bump W. Andersson who drives the Jaguar XJ13 and starts 11th in the races that I have run. Looking back at one one of my races that I posted, W. Andersson finished 11th with a total time of 10:21.304 and had a best lap of 1:57.756. In the race that I bumped him, he finished 3rd with a total time of 9:38.616 and had a best lap of 1:46.421. He ran over 11 seconds faster in one lap by bumping him and finished 8 spots higher in the standings by bumping him the whole race!

W. Andersson probably could win a race if you bump him the whole race... As long as he doesn't run off the track because he's going too fast, which he did twice and he still finished in 3rd place! I like that the AI reacts differently when you bump them.... But 11 seconds a lap faster is just plain silly.

What are your lap times in the 030? I think fastest I'm doing is a 1.41/42 at best. You dont need to do that consisitently. I think I did 45, 46, 42 etc. and thats enough to get it.

I think my laps are in the low 1:42s and high 1:41s but I did not take much notice of the first lap was sorry.

Nice race I had with the Greaves LMP2 car detuned to meet 600PP. Nailing the downhill hairpin felt great and it was a good chase until taking the lead early in the 5th lap from the Zonda. No need for real overkill with a 2J here.
