Fun combos.

I used:
B: Honda Civic EK9/Integra DC5
I: Subaru Impreza spec C
E: Honda S2000

All apart from S2000 were stock. On S2000 i used some power mods and weight reduction to get it closer to 500. Expert race was fun, but i think i will repeat the Beginner one the most as i enjoy Hondas :P

The beginner and intermediate seemed a bit too easy this time out but that might just be me :)

I thought 5 laps of Nur GP was a bit too long and should have only been 3 but I enjoyed both the intermediate and expert races.

I just wonder what I'm supposed to do with a tin of Matt Purple paint  :)

All gold on first run.

1. Mini Copper S '11 (detuned)
2. Subaru s206 NBR '12
3. Tuscan Speed 6 '00

Nice events. Not wow, just nice.
Expert: BMW 135i that i used on the "onemake" did a nice job.
Intermediate: Audi TTS coupe '09
Beginner: Alfa Mito gift car, tuned a little, the leader Clio R.S. woke up and kept behind me the last 3 laps.

Same to me. I used a stock VW Golf IV gti and the leader was a Prelude SiR. He also kept behind me to the end of the race. It was a nice surprise to have some pressure out there, to keep us focused

I used a fiat abarth punto agande(hope I spelt that right),lancia delta intergrale, and a m4 coupe to gold all three races. Didn't have a problem with anything during these races and at Motegi I set a 1:30.241. The expert one was almost too easy though.

True to form, I want to use a single manufacturer for all three events, but I'm having trouble thinking of one that has both a 4WD and a FR in their lineup. What PP does Subaru BRZ come with? I prefer stock cars.

Well this is a nice change, making it impossible to use the same car for all three races by way of upgrades and/or the power limiter, I am pleased. :)

Hyundai:
FR: Genesis Coupe 3.8 Track '13
4WD: CLIX '01
FF: Coupe FX '01

Nissan:
FR: Fairlady Z (Z34) '08
4WD: SKYLINE GT-R V-spec II N1 (R34) '00
FF: PRIMERA 20V (EU) '01

Mazda:
FR: RX-7 Spirit R Type A (FD) '02
4WD: Mazdaspeed Atenza '05
FF: Axela 23S '03

Toyota:
FR: SUPRA RZ '97
4WD: RSC '01
FF: CELICA SS-II (ZZT231 ) '99

All possible to win with stock.

WHOEPS, TREED? ^^

I'm going to do the events again in other accounts, and just read your post.

This is what i found if you want to use stock from one brand.
But then some season events are a real challenge.
When there are no PP behind the car, they are the max pp for that event.

@et_ are you able to edit your thread title? You accidentally put the starting date as August 4th instead of September 4th. :-)

Is this what ends up being the norm with Gran Turismo seasonal events? I didn't always religiously do seasonal events until a few months ago, but I could have sworn we had a greater type of variety of events. Now it is always 3 races: Beginner, Intermediate, Expert and then the next week the 2 Super Laps and 2 Drift Events. I don't drift and I don't really grind super laps for best possible time. I get my Gold and do a few more laps and that's it. I like the 3 A-Spec races but they're getting a bit monotonous.

I haven't had time to try these new events yet. Good luck to all who are out there on the track. I'll be there sometime later today. :)

@dddsprayshop : These will be very difficult, maybe impossible, if you plan to run them stock:
4WD Brera 409pp
FR Any honda S2000 around 429pp
4WD Ford RS200 '84 432pp

@ALB123 Done. thanks for pointing that out!

WOW, no that was for @Mt. Lynx .
But you know what? i'm not a good driver, but i'm going to try the brera stock, eeehm can i change the tires?.
I'm curiuos now.i trie with stock and then with changed tires.

Yeah, I know:P

but yeah, it is probably not impossible, but it will be pretty tough I think, try them out!:)
Ofcourse you can change tyres;)

@et_ No problem. I figured it wasn't that big of a deal, but for historical purposes, if someone is looking for this event a few months from now, I thought it would be helpful to have it corrected. As always, you've done a fantastic job keeping these Seasonal Events threads alive and fun. Thanks et_!!!

Okay, 1st of all, i'm not that good.
I use DS3 and no thumbstick.
I drive chasecam and still have the apexline visible.
And i had to drive a bit agressive, so not 100% clean drive.

So @et_, i accepted the challenge.Possible or impossible?
100% stock, so with the original tires, pffff, slip and slide
those poor tires, but drove the complete race.So impossible for me.
Maybe possible for better drivers.

then changed tires and went again.
The leaders i got.
Lancer evo VI GSR '99 with 465pp
Lancer evo VII GSR '01 with 466pp
I used a stock brera with 409PP with Sport Soft tires.

The recorded clip.
The run with Comfort Soft tires is speed up at 300%.

If the quality is bad, youtube is still processing.
And i trie the other two also, but do not record them.

Beginner: Suzuki Cervo @ 400pp
Intermediate: Mitsubishi Airtrek @ 500pp on SH tires
Expert: Dat big Mercedes, I forgot the name @ 500pp
Not your usual cars :)

WOW, no that was for @Mt. Lynx .

I usually do change the tires :-), and if all else fails, I change the oil.
Nissan seems the most reasonable, so I'll check them first.

For the expert race, it appears that you have to do consistent 1:33s to catch the rabbits before the end.

@et_
Okay, i tested the Ford RS200 on 4WD event, only tire change, i got a new favorite car, 1st in lap 3, only changed tires.
Want to have fun? Ford RS200 stock, change tires and go, great little 4WD car

The expert event? The game cheats.
i used the Honda S2000 (US) '04. 429pp Sport soft tires.
1st run, i got 3rd, the leaders? M4 coupe with 510pp and the jaguar XKR Coupe '10 with 511 pp.
Changed oil, the s2000 got 436PP now.
2nd run, i got 2nd, leader? The aston martin V12 vantage with 521pp.
So the game makes sure that i have a difference of 80-85 pp.Nice..

the finish screens for the honda.

I knew there was something fishy, when i did the expert with a BMW 135i, there was a Ferarri california on the track. yup, 522pp.Nice.

@dddsprayshop The rabbits I had in the first attempt was the AC Cobra 427 and the Jag XKR. It looks like you have to manage 1:33s to catch them.

That is not the problem, @Mt. Lynx asked what car brand has cars for all three events and wants to do the events with the cars without tuning, so stock, only tires or/and oil change.
I made a list and there were a few that are questionable.
@et_ quoted me and mentioned three cars, i tested those three complete stock, and then with tire change.
I just could not get expert with a honda S2000 stock and oilchange, i just tuned the s2000 up to 500pp and no problem winning the expert.
Awesome idea from some members to do these events with stock cars.👍

Beginner: Clio R.S. '11 (detuned to 400PP)
Intermediate: Delta HF Intergrale Evoluzione '91 (500PP)
Expert: Subaru BRZ S '12 (500PP)

Boy, I didn't realize how few FF cars I owned. I only had a few cars to choose from for the Beginner Race. I actually enjoyed these races a bit more than usual. I think because of the drivetrain layouts mandated. I'll go back with lesser cars are re-try the events.

Does anyone know how to re-connect to the PSN while in Gran Turismo 6? I turned on my PS3 and it connected me to PSN like it always does. I launched GT6 and I got my message that I was at the 200% max for login bonus. I immediately selected Seasonal Events and ran the Beginner A-Spec Race. I came in 1st Place and noticed my payout was only 60,000 Credits. Sure enough, when I went back to the main menu the number 5 and he icon was missing where it normally shows you what day you're on for login bonus. I tried to re-enter Seasonal Events and my PS3 just sat there for 10 minutes. I pressed the PS button on my DFGT and selected Quit Game but it crashed my PS3 and restarted.

Can you not ask to try re-connecting to the PSN while inside the game? I've done a quick look around but I don't see anything. I'm back in my game but it's registering Day 5 so all is back to normal.

Do a short press on the PS button, not press & hold.
Scroll to the 2nd column from the right, then to the top of that column. It should say "sign in".
