Well just downloaded this last night and did the little tutorial bit and you guys are right. Lots of nostalgia.:) So is going ahead and buying that unlimited campaign ticket the way to go? I'd like to play online with some of you sometime as well but I royally suck at Ace Combat right now. Haven't played in years.
I bought it last night and it's nice especially because you can fly and get back into the swing of things so to say. Plus after mission 2 you have to pay in game credits to play missions.

Anyone willing to complete the invite challenges with me within the next few minutes/hours? I still need to finish 'Room Invite to sortie with a friend(which gives an extra fuel)' and 'Everyone Sortie'(which is three sorties with friends).

The thing is though is that I'm have 2 stocked fuel left, and 3/6 completed with the 6 sortie/48hr challenge.

So if I do this right I can kill them all with..three stones?

So they are having some special missions online where you can spend up to 3 units of fuel and get 3.5x credits and research... Not sure when it will end but I am thinking I will take advantage of it using my regen fuel.

Finally was able to download this last night, really really enjoying it :D. Won't be able to get that unlimited campaign ticket for a while though, so I'm just sticking to the online stuff for now.

I enjoyed the campaign but man I'm loving the online.

So what is everyone working towards on the tree? I'm currently making my way to the MiG-29. Almost there!

I'm not that far into it. I just unlocked and am really enjoying the F14. One question I had though. Does anyone know the price of the ADFX Morgan?

I'm available now, I got 7 fuels so that should be good enough for an hour perhaps.

Working the way of the Su-35, thus far I'm nearly there without purchasing fuel drops (got the game 15 days ago though)

I'm really trying to get the A-10 for attacking (though it seems as though the Sukhois are better since those are the attackers I see people using the most). My Fighter is the F-14 (almost like every other person), however, I would be more than happy getting any Russian fighter.

@TJisA1337NOOB You get Morgan from doing 30 sorties I believe, and I think it costs 2000 credits(?). Not sure, that needs confirmation.

I haven't been able to move up my tree due to my account being suspended, but i hope i'll have more challenges when i get back online, i seriously need more fuel.:nervous:

Just unlocked the ADFX I'm surprised it's a multirole plane... Anyway I need some friends for the few friend challenges especially since one ends soon anyone up for some flying tomorrow? Oh PSN is Frizbe

I'll add you soon when I have some time to do later.

Awesome I got your friend request on my phone since I have that Playstation App and dear god I almost 🤬 myself since I had no idea it gave me those kind of alerts when I receive one

How is the ADFX? From the pictures, it looks like some sort of "Black" project.

not bad after flying this and the Phantom though I much prefer fighters to anything else. But for the ADFX it's not as fast as I thought it would be and it's not nearly as nimble as the F16. The TLS is weird though it's kinda like the old radar guided missiles from older games where it's based on where you are pointed at that moment and it's not as powerful as I figured it would be.

Oh yeah, I'm open for friend requests and such to help get them fuel challenges, I'll be on most evenings probably, PSN is karl53 :).

So I finally caved and bought the relatively expensive F/A-18. I can definitely see why so many other people use these in all the missions. It has lots of potential and it's really easy to gain points with, almost too easy.

That being said, I still trying to find a flow with it. I'm a little spoiled by the sheer speed of my F-14, and while it seems like I have to work harder to gain more points with the cat, it feels more rewarding.

Sounds like I might have to get that next. One thing that shocked me is how many more points I got as soon as I bought the F-14 and started using it over the F-16.

Well, looks like I'm gonna have to do some online co-op just to get enough credits so feel free to add "GTP_RACECAR" if your up for some co-op. Forgive me if I'm useless at it, this'll be the first time I've been online in anything apart from a racing sim.

Ok, so how do you change skins on the planes? I don't even see where you go to do that.

Well, I'm down to 1 supplied fuel and 2 Stocked Fuels. I've been mainly trying to get that ADFX-01 Morgan via the "Sortie 30 times" challenge. Unfortunately I can't seem to afford the third campaign mission for a while and the same goes for the rest of the Campaign.

Also: to those I invited, sorry if my room wasn't there. Only late in the night did I realize it would actually help if I opened the room *facepalm*

If you will put some money on the game, do not buy the 3rd mission.

Better off buying the campaign ticket, can't stress it enough but really, **** gets really expensive after certain point so you are better off having those 200000 stocked somewhere to buy plane upgrades, or weapons or planes or whatever.

Definitely +1. I had some leftover PSN cash so I used that and bought that campaign ticket. I haven't played a lot of hours but play it every day pretty much. I have 35 stocked fuel.
