Adding a rear view mirror in the roof view.

I race a lot online, in a group of fast clean drivers. Close racing at top speed is the norm. In car view is cool and very fun, but getting the most out of the cars without a multi monitor setup is tough. The roof/hood view is the next best thing for me and a lot of gt6 drivers.

I suggest adding a rear view mirror to the roof view. Without a mirror it gets a bit tricky sometimes, and the "look left, right" buttons can be sketchy too. In gt5 you could zoom in the course map and see where the cars around you are going. Unfortunately for me and a few of my friends, they left that feature out of gt6.

Yes yes yes, please yes add a rearview for the roof view! Its been needed since the roof view was added back in GT4.

The rear view mirror needs to be available in all viewing modes as it is such an important feature. The course map zoom feature from GT5 that you mentioned also needs to be reintroduced as that was very helpful for online racing.

I noticed that the OP mentioned roof/hood view - sometimes it's on the hood and sometimes it's on the roof - not related to this thread, but there should be some consistency - I would like all hood view to be at the base of the windscreen. PD could also add a roof cam view for those people who prefer that view. I find it a pain that some cars have one and some the other and this could be avoided if all cars had both.

Almost every other racing game has a virtual mirror for hood/roof view so why can't GT?
