Just a random question I was wondering why everytime after you sneeze and while you're crying or during crying you have alot of mucus build up that you have to blow out?
yes, I would say that's normal, sneezing and crying both cause extra mucus for me, not that I ever cry or anything it was just something in my eye
EDIT: oh WHY... I would guess anything involving sinus activity is going to cause extra mucus for whatever reason, even squeezing my nose together or staring at the ceiling lights seems to be enough some times.
I never cry. Evar. On a more serious note, crying sends water down to your nose via a duct I can't remember the name of, so your body produces mucus to contain the water. Sneezing for me gets rid of mucus, not makes it. I wonder how you blow your nose.
Because your nose, eyes, throat, mouth and ears are interconnected.
Each one affects the other. For example, your eustachian tubes connect your ears and pharynx. So, extra fluid from crying etc will cause a build up elsewhere in the system.
Try closing your mouth and holding your nose, then breathe in really hard without actually sucking any air in through your nose or mouth. What happens?
