I beat all of Beginner League and now I am on Amateur and I need a car so what do you all recomond I have $400,000. What should I BUY?

I'd recommend going to the Super Speedway endurance and winning an F1 race car there. It blows away the amatuer and professional competition.

You should be able to win it with that Z06.

But, patience is the key, and you'll be glad once you do get it. It hugs the road like no other car on the game. . .

My recomendation is, learn how to win these races without using an F1 car,  Just modify one of your best car's, or win another good car, you should be able to win the Amateur races easy if you are any good.
The guys who play for Fun use the F1s to win races, the more serious drivers win by good driving, with similar car's to what are in the race.

You might get some ideas there.

He's right. If you want a challenge do that.

I will do that once I get everything in the game. I will go back and race the races with normal cars and not F1s. Because once you race with an F1 it's hard as hell getting use to regular cars. Unless you tune them to handle like an F1... like I did with my Calsonic Skyline. It rules the Nismo Races in amatuer and professional!!

Race with what you got, theres nothing wrong with the Z06. Put some super softs on it and win some other great car along the way. Then use some of the new cars you get. If you get stuck then try to get an f car.

I got the f car a while ago and used it at first but went back to the other cars like the camero race car.  It was alot more fun racing with other cars on the track.

There will be a place for the f car soon I hope.

Hopefully in the next GT game, if they do put F1s back in, they will restrict them from being used except for in F1 Championships. As it is right now, F1s just kill the competition.

I got my F1 car ont he second try! WOOHOO ITS ****

I did the trick, i put staples in the X button and it worked, but after 96 laps the car went sideways for some reason and got stuck inm the wall for 12 minutes!! I come back and Im 3rd, im like O **** 4 laps to become 1st so I go and kick their asses and even lap em once, ****
that was close!

I LOVE MY F1!!!!!!

don't race with the f1 alot and you why cuz it will take your skill drive away with another car. YEP!!!! i used to race with the f1 and i went to civil type R to race you know what it damn slow and it to make turn. same to some lm race car.

what did everyone use for the evolution meeting and how did they get it. Its the only cup I havent one in beginner and I dont plane to get all golds until I win the evolution meeting. I only need 5 races(4 actually I just havent taken the time to do the easy one)other than the three evolution meeting ones. I have one that I won from the gt world championship on beginner but I think I can win something better.

I say use your Vette and Camaro and do/ win as many races in Amateur as you can with the cars you win. Except for the Alteeza and Mercedes you should be able to win every car you'll need for special series.
The European race will get you a Lotus Elise and a Vertigo Race car. You'll need the Elise later and the Vertigo is sweet or worth 300,000.

I won them.
I won the IV in one of the Japaneese Championship in Amateur, I also won a VI in the GT world Champ in Beginner. I won the VII in the Amateur 4WD. There's tons of Lancer Evo's throughout Amateur level. Kind of annoying.

I'd say try to win the 4wd, the VII is pretty sweet. I won the 4wd with a Skyline that I won in Beginner GT world championship Beginner.

i bought a VI GSR and full-tuned it.
if you don't have the $$ for the mods, get it anyway.
biggest turbo you can afford after tires (T6 for me), LSD, and a flywheel.

F1 in amatures is way overkill!!!

I have used a mix of cars. in amatures to varying effects...
the c12 unmodified will win a few races so will the camaro racecar
