Room opens around 8-8:30, open qualifying. Race will start around 9:30.
Who's going to host?
 
Anyone doing any practice sessions tonight? I've logged in just a little under zero miles at Daytona so far. :(

I might be able to make it. I haven't got much practice in either since I had testing in school this week..

There was more than 16 participants before, but half of them flaked out from incidents or being off pace. I think if were having people participate and they're new, if you quit don't expect your spot to be held next race.

I have 2 to 3 races to get ready for tonight, so I be on GT5 all night like a crack head. I'll be in my lounge all night starting from 5pm PST onwards. Everyone feel free to join?

I think we should settle this in advance. I've had a few lobby glitch disconnects while everyone was online, So, I'm not saying I want to host, but, I need to know whose to join...
 
With all my internet problems, count me out for hosting. It's actually off at home right now. Hopefully it's back by tomorrow night. If it is, I'll be racing for sure. I'll let you guys know closer to race time.
 
I'd host, not sure if someone else wants to. My internet is pretty reliable and fast. Got cable from Comcast.
 
Count me out for tonight and father of the year award. :( Today is my daughters birthday and I forgot that we were going out tonight to celebrate. Gonna have to wing it tomorrow night. :trouble:

Ok think I missed the first race, but Id like to come back for season 4.

Didnt see any one in the viper on the drivers list so Id like to use that if possible.

The Driver list is pretty full so I'll have to move you into the Reserves. But you may come on by and earn some points. And welcome back, mate!

Also for Daytona, when you exit the pits I want everyone to take the long route, AKA the path inside the blue walls after the first turn. Taking the short route will probably damage the flow of traffic. I'll also put this in the OP.

Consider it done-I always do anyway. Just remember, that is a very thin piece of tarmac, no passing etc. on pit exit.
 
Had no practice, have been real busy lately.
 
My R8 is ready to go. I'll be around, so if all people don't show up, i'll be ready to go.

Edit: Just ran a few laps, the car feels very frisky under braking with the GT4 tune on it.
Also had more mid-corner understeer than I'd like.
It's fun to drive and seems to use the hards pretty well, but Im not fully comfortable with how it loses grip yet.

Oh by the way, what strategy will you guys be planning for the race and what is your top speed capped at? Mine's at 300km/h at the moment.

I'm hitting 320kmh in the Toyota. Probably a little faster, I don't aim for top speed too much. The infield is where you can gain more time IMO.
 
I'm not going to make it tonight guys. My Internet isn't working.
