You're not even that guy (not THAT_GUY) I blocked in the chicane as I was passing the other GT traffic, but, you're talking like you saw it. I think it was Pawel. We went two wide through the chicane. The DP car had to just wait.

I just mean in general. Patience and precision are key for P drivers. By what you say, you had the right to make the pass on another GT if you were already initiating it ( meaning you were both locked into your lines in the chicane).

I think battles for position within class should be interrupted as little as possible. So as P driver I plan a few corners ahead and figure out my safe pass spots 👍

Good idea. Actually, a few posts back, I said I got hit by a RUF, but after watching the replay, it was a Corvette that I was passing, and I more got hit in the left rear by the Ruf.

Anyways, that's just racing.

I also examined my pit strategies and I realized that I was a huge idiot. I could've stayed out longer. I also noticed that I wasn't actually THAT far behind, and that Kevin really walked away from everyone else in GT.

FH was miles ahead, but I guess he couldn't make it.

It's sad... but, those points went to BMW. Not a bad deal for me. Anyways, I'll have a pit strategy figured out for Indy. I wonder if anyone wants to join the M-Division...

Edit** How many laps or what's the race distance?

Every race is 250km (see page 1). 250 km = 155.342 mi, Indy Road Course is 2.61 miles, carry the two...

59.5 laps, so we could go 60.

Does anyone have the replay for Daytona?

I might.

Ok, i built a standings video for everyone to view. Its not a finished product just yet, its got some tweaking and maybe ill add some more flare to it but this is basically what it will be every week. Feel free to add some suggestions.

Thanks, mate! I'll make the changes shortly.

So how do team points work?

Basically, each member will earn half of the points from the Rubric, until it is combined. Then I add 2 points, and that's your team's final points. Sometimes, I do get decimals, so I just leave it there. In this method, each member would have to really contribute.

At times, if the gap between the two drivers is great, I would add 0.5 to the extra 2 points or even a whole point.

I think me and Joe's team name should be GTPeugeot. If he has something better we can go with that.

Yeah, I'm in the Toyota since people were complaining about the equalization of the cars. But just because I won, don't think the Toyota is going to run away. The Audi should be better on shorter, tighter tracks. But I might be able to have a good run at Indy, it's pretty close to Daytona, except clockwise, and I think better.

Also the first time i've raced in a series, where we have a full room.

Good job Kevin!

I may have found an M-Division team-mate. Everyone, give a warm welcome to a jolly old mate; StormPacer17. BMW ///M-Division for GTManufacturer! XD

Thanks Melancholy, and hi all!!! So I was asked by Mr.M15 if I would be his partner for the ALMS, which I would be happy to accept. I just hope I don't slip up nearly as much as I have been in other races.

Perhaps, Storm? What do you say, Mmmmmaaaaattteee?

Yeah why not, Team BMW ///M-Division.

StormPacer, you'll be a Reserve driver, since the Active drivers are packed. But fortunately, you may attend any races and earn points that will go towards the Season roster once you get transferred as an Active driver :) Although, I'm not sure how teamwork will flow in this state.

Well, I think a majority of people don't want anymore James6653. Today he crashed and hit me in Rolex on purpose. He fits that dirty driver type from the OP.

I won't kick him, BUT I'm starting a discussion on the topic. Was anyone else involved in any problems with James6653? We might need more proof from other drivers. Mitch, you have the floor...:sly:

Also, Storm is the most fun bloke I've raced with. We never even bump. He's a worthy replacement for James... I'd like to see all the GT guys racing together... Well, all of them that drive clean.

Let's get Phil (PMC) Storm, FH, and Sinladar IN if possible...

Im in, really unhappy to have missed last week.

Ok so we've added a GT driver and an LMP driver has switched rides. Ill try to make sense of it all come next week. I dont feel overly confident about indy, i know that guy ran a good race during preseason. Looking forward to the challenge.

I also like Indy. It feels more gritty somehow, the way Sebring does.

But, but, but, i want to race as well.

Anyone free to practice today? I can go on in a couple hours.

Cool with me 👍

@ Kev nice job man 👍

Indy Road Course is one of my favourite tracks so, GT class, beware... :trouble:
