I love the CSL! Its a super handling car. Its my go to at the Ring for 500pp races.
The cars we are using are straight off of the showroom floor. All besides the RUF.
Yeratel84People, I've just been reading all the posts about the race, and I'm sorry for posting this only now (I already was fast asleep by the time the argument started).
[to gtamann123] GT class qualifying order:
Blaze, Kevin, Yeratel, Storm, MrMelancholy, Marfy, FH, Cowboy, TG2, gatrs, Sin.
(I might have swapped the RUFs, but I'm pretty sure about everyone in front of Cowboy)
That being said, I don't know how this will be handled by the stewards, but from my point of view, both Cowboy and MrMel were wrong, the former obviously for starting way ahead of his position, and the latter for entering in a fight for starting position and taking advantage of that after said start.
As for you MrMelancholy15, what you should have done was mantain your position, and protest the incident after the race, as by "getting your position back" from Cowboy, you also started out of your position.
To Seth, for saying that the M3 is "a front heavy boat," I'd like to add that it has a better weight distribution (50/50) than any and every other car in the game...
To Yera, I'm done with the argument. I defended my spot, Storm couldn't see what was going on, and you weren't perfect either.

The Ford is also 50/50
I noticed you should try to shed as much weight as possible, even if its under 1300KG, you should go for more, because the lowest you can go is 1100KG (I don't any car here can get that low) but then you can then add more weight for the more you lose, then you can move that weight around to your liking, and can get 50/50 becuase you'll get better distribution. 👍
Prego Gatrs says it has a handling advantage.
Maybe the Premium 135i? It is faster than some GTs fully tuned, so it would be limited, and can go to 1300KG.

No the 1186 is one of the Corvettes. M3 CSL goes down to 1150. MY GOD, MAKING A BMW M3 for 1000km Suzuka NAAAOWWW!!!! I kid, I kid.The most weight I can take out is until 1342 kg. Not an option for the PREMIUM (everyone likes capitalizing that...?) M3. I know the M3 CSL goes pretty lightweight, (1186?)

Here are my ideas
Formation Lap: It shouldnt be hard to simply follow the car in front of you, but people have got to stop pressing the start button and chatting during it. I got tangled up with a few drivers because we're rolling along, then all of a sudden one person wants to chat, the car goes to 30mph and everyone gets brake checked and collisions happen. If you dont see another driver on the track, chatting away isnt going to make you see them... keep the formation moving.
Rolling Start: When approaching the start/finish line we should already be in the correct order and if we werent chatting then we should all be tightly grouped. Everyone stays a full bumper behind the car in front, if you want to take a staggered position you can but you cant be past the car in front in any way.
Tower Turn 13How about this rule: No chatting during qualifying or race, period. Except of course who ever is steward telling what to do.
gatrs, do you guys still do the rfactor series? I have a feeling GT5 is gonna push me into being a PC racer before too long.
