ONE RACE I had an issue. You've been here for what, half a season? And you caused that incident. YOU. I brake-checked you because you hit me and then you're sitting there honking after I passed! I already was past you at the point we made contact. Someone can watch the video and make a judgement, but I am a clean racer in every other race I've been in. I avoid contact more than a lot of people here.

Additionally, I was off pace for a good part of the race but got into the 1:48s later on after I was far down. Also correction, I didn't get last. The person who got last quit mid-race.

Dude, cool it, please. I reckon people had a lot to say about my driving in that race too, especially from the LMP guys. Besides, you've got something else on your mind, and its best not to take our your frustration out on people not involved with the thing getting you so worked up.

I am so close to done here. I'll help Storm now, AND THAT'S IT. I'm NOT COMING BACK NEXT YEAR.

You ****ed up the specs with the choice of M3 & you ****ed up with specs for the Corvette and Ford.

The specs of that Ford make Yera feel all powerful... "I CAN BLOCK ANYBODY."

It's ok I'm done arguing. I stated my case. From my perspective, MrM was making it purposely difficult for me to make a pass (going off line, then not giving me room when we're side-by-side, hitting me, honking). Everybody's main priority should be not to make contact. Not just "well he's not 100 percent past me yet, I'm going to turn in to him anyway." That doesn't make sense for position passes, how does it make sense for a blue flag situation??

The person I'm sorry to is THAT GUY and I understand he might feel that I ruined his race. But seriously I blame PD for even letting people who can't see others into races. I didn't know, truly, I didn't, that anyone was invisible to me.

It does tend to boil over, but come on, if you're adamant you've been somewhat affected in a race it's bound to be difficult to NOT get angry.

Only reason I didn't get majorly p*ssed at Laguna was because (a) I DC'd anyway, and (b) the issues I was having couldn't be helped anyway due to my internet being bad that day. I mean, I got blown off the track as if someone RPG'd the space between me and Sin two weeks ago, and I got rammed off at the very start because people were fighting with other people I couldn't see.
 
Can we all try to NOT add fuel to fires and at least try to exstinguish them in the first place, please? I'll look over a number of incidents, if people want me to.

Also, I feel kinda left out not being blamed for people's misfortune now... Come on, let it all out, who's race did I **** up? Don't be shy. :D
 
Look guys, I'm cooled down. I want someone to check the video to see what happened in the corner where Mr. Mel and I made contact (somewhere around lap 14 or 15), right before the brake check which I take responsibility for. I shouldn't have been reactionary, I know. But maybe someone can give a new perspective so I can learn what NOT to do when sharing a corner--because obviously something went wrong and to me I thought the pass was made well before contact.

All contact after that was me and him being jerks to each other, which shouldn't have happened, both of us can agree.

What I really don't find funny is that I wasted my night getting heated up over a game that's several years old, on a system that's several years older than that, with terrible terrible tire wear and glitches that cause people to smash into each other from other dimensions.

But the point is whether or not the pass was made PRIOR to you turning in to me. If two people are side by side they share the corner. That's how it works. To my knowledge I didn't dive into your apex when you were already committed, though I want someone else to check to verify that. If it was my fault I promise I'll apologize. But for some GT drivers there WERE no good passing spots because going side by side into a corner meant I was gonna get hit.

Well obviously you and I aren't going to agree. I took the inside line, which you hadn't taken yet in my field of vision. I felt your line was the outside one, or a late apex and tuck behind. You were also consistently off line when I was trying to pass in general, so I couldn't get by you on straightaways. I can't convince you and visa versa so let's just wait for a third party opinion.

@stupidstormy, this just proves my point about the invisible thing (happens to all of us at one point or another)--I had a little trouble passing you, but not much. Because you didn't see me you were always on your line AKA predictable, so it was easier than most.

@stormpacer you didn't screw up my race. You were fine :)
 
Mock please watch lap 17 & 18 You drilled me going up the hill on turn 6 & 7 then lap 18 you pulled over at turn 3 I passed you then you "PUNTED" me across the track.

Mock I know its a game but by the second or third time it kinda feels like its on purpose. The comment I made "Come on man" didn't think you would take it so serious. I know about bills with a wife, kid, house, two trucks, and running my own business. I think you have no idea!! But listen its all good. No hard feeling. Just a game.

I got sick of being bumped.

If you see me in La-la-land, honking my horn like a goose, it means "Hurry up & pass me, you irritating splotch in my rearview mirror." It doesn't mean "Aw, Durrrrrr, I wanna be brake checked." Seth & Pipi figured that out... Why can't you?
 
First off, if anyone has a dispute about what happened just PM the laps in question and ill try to look at them tomorrow.

Stormy it was just good hard racing, yeah i was upset because we made contact and i got the bad end of the deal but i know it wasnt intentional. Its just frustrating when you're digging hard for 45 laps and something happens, then you get passed twice in the closing seconds.

MrMel i dunno what to say to you, you want to race in this series but this isnt the first time you've slandered a driver and made a mockery of the series in general. I honestly think it would be best if you just didnt race here anymore. Nothing personal, but this series has always been enjoyable and without drama. You're a good racer, but your personality isnt welcome here.

Understood, I can tell you honestly like I said I never even knew you were there. My car didn't get harmed, didn't even make a 'bump.' I believe you that it happened, but I'm saying not form my perspective is all, and you know from the past that I don't just go around slamming into people. Especially someone I respect racing with like you. Sorry again.

I'm sorry you find LMP traffic an 'irritating splotch,' maybe a multi-class series isn't for you? You have to admit you weren't trying very hard to share the road. In fact quite the opposite.

This is how I approach multi-class situations:

1.) I assume GT will keep their line. Ignore me when I'm still *behind* you. I'll make a pass when *I* am ready--notice in no point of the race did I rearend you while trying to pass. I'm not going to push you through a corner. I don't need you to slow down, move over, honk, do ANYTHING different, until I initiate a pass.

2.) Once we're going into a corner and my nose is up there with yours, we should both commit to either inside or outside line, whichever we are. If side by side, blue flag or same class, no one owns the apex and no one can just turn in and track out like normal, causing contact.

My judgement is skewed, so I'm not going to make a final call on this. But I am done talking about it until someone views the footage. The brake check was absolutely on purpose, and it was absolutely the wrong move. I should have just kept going and left the incident behind me.

Also are we talking about the same thing? I thought it was the corner prior to the "s"

You called me a conceited jerk, if im not mistaken. We may have had issues but i never once attacked you personally. Now you go after Yeratel and Mock, 2 very clean drivers in my opinion. I mean...

You even wrote an apology PM to everyone and i accepted it thinking as long as you can act right id look past it and we could enjoy having you as a member in the series. But man, we're not going to do this week in and week out, i think i speak for a lot of the other drivers when i say that.
 
Ummm, yeah, you made a video calling me a cheater (sorta) and proclaiming yourself as the winner of the series after Round 3 or 4...

And, watch lap 3. Watch me set up a clean pass on Yera, and watch him push me in the grass. Clean? Pfft...
 
Mrmel watched it look pretty clean to me. He was holding his line. After turn 3. If your talking about up the hill on turn 6 & 7 you were by yourself! No one around you!

I know what you mean. I screwed up big towards the beginning of the race. I thought that was the deal closer for me. Maybe I did push a little too hard at the end, but it was all good fun none-the-less. I'm glad you didn't take it personal. The way I see it is "This is racing. Things will happen. Sometimes it's beneficial, but most times not. Even professionals make mistakes, so we're far from perfect."

Plus, you did lag big in front me at one point. :lol: It was very scary.
