If we threw up a poll and let everyone speak for themselves. Joke would probably come back as not funny. But the joke of the poll of you not being funny would be funny.

:sly: Yay... someone got a laugh...

I just want to clarify my point, though. Toyota's home track is technically Fuji, because of the ownership, but Suzuka is quite close to downtown Tokyo; and therefore, the Toyota main headquarters. Not as close as Honda's, mind, but still close.

What do you guys think of the LMP Regs from my old series, did it work out well?

Quite honestly they need work. We (TheGTRRL) started off using your regs and we have had to do a lot of adjustments to them to get a more balanced performance.

For one, the Peugeot's need more HP to balance the fact that the front end handles poorly compared to the others. Same goes for the Toyota GTONE. The GTONE is lighting fast on the straights but lacks corner speed compared to the R8 and Speed 8

We have done all of this and the Speed 8 is still significantly faster then the other prototypes. It has great corner speeds and good straight line speeds. We have great drivers in our series (Our regs tester is currently in the top 10 of GTA) and the Speed 8 is definitely the best at these regs.

I know for our next season we are basically going to start from scratch cause some of the cars definitely lack the corner handling that the Speed 8 has

Audi 05' with the addittional wing added is on par with the speed 8 for me, over half the tracks I had a better lap time with the audi then the speed 8.

Right forgot about that car. I'm talking along the lines of the Peugeot's, GTONE, etc etc

That's another adjustment we had to do to your regs is add the aero upgrade to the '05.

You know I don't see that much difference without the wing. Mechanical grip is strong with it. Shorter, tighter tracks are it's advantage. The wing gives it even more of an edge. The Bentley is awesome, but Toyota is top speed king. The Pescarolo's are ok, kinda lagging. The BMW is tricky as is the 787B. The Peugeot's have serious torque so low speed corners are a little harder too.

Okay so with Fuji up tomorrow, what's everyone hitting thus far? 1:40's look like a competitive time.

Ive done 3 practice laps so far lol, i think one of them was 1'39 something. I hadnt really tuned the car i just changed the tranny. To be honest ive been messing with rfactor a lot more than GT5, but i need to get crackin on my setup.
