What about if they wanted to emigrate, but couldn't due to their circumstances?
Then they don't really feel very strongly about it and are just complaining. People arrive in America everyday with nothing but the clothes on their backs. If you wanted to Emigrate all you'd have to do is get a job and work for maybe a month, max, and you could fly anywhere you want.

How many of you are actively working toward emigrating? Or are you just running your mouths?

I suppose you would do that if you were rushing to get out of the country. That would be ok I suppose if you were just alone, but what if you had an entire family to support (no I don't).

Well i'm not American, but for a while I have been thinking about what it would be like to live in another country. Maybe Australia or anywhere that speaks English as their first language. I can think of lots of plus and minus points on emigrating, but at the moment I doubt it would be a wise thing for me to do. :/

I like it here. Not moving anytime soon.

I may not agree with a largely unprovoked war, but I have nothing against the soldiers themselves. They are doing their job, just as you and I have to take orders.

I am already a legal immigrant of this country, so I guess I am gonna have to stay here.

Anyways, I think there is more stuff to do if you want to emigrate to another country Milefile, more than just working for a month. Maybe it is because you live here, but people from other countries that want to emigrate here, they have to go through to long legal situations. They last like 5 years.

You should know all the requirements and "but's" that the USA put you to live here.

About the war, I see a good thing and a bad thing. The good thing is that if Bush wins the war, he is quickly going to get a hold of the oil, that means, more money to this country. The bad thing is knowing how this people are , they can exploit the terrain so bad, that they can blow the earth in no time and have an earlier end of the world.

NEWSFLASH: Bush isn't taking anyone's oil. He's said repeatedly Iraq's oil belongs to Iraq. Saddam is the one who's already torching it after he said on TV he wouldn't.

I have looked into emigrating to Vancouver Island (yes, Canada... flame away) because I love it there, and can't stand Seattle. I am aware it's a long process, and America doesn't make it any harder than any other country.

Naw, I'll stay here. I like it here. :) Heck, I'd even like to live in this exact same house for a good while... my parents picked an absolutely gorgeous view, without being prohibitly far from civilization.

What about the title, dipstick?

It'll be too hard to explain to your 3 brain cells. I give up... You're just a troll anyway.

Not really. I haven't heard him say anything like that in a while. And frankly he is one of the more level-headed members around lately. I just saw this rash of posts about how they want to or wish they could emmigrate. So many people are just freaking out over this war, renouncing their country, etc. bla bla bla. It reminds me of a two year old who's been told "no" by his mommy having a tantrum.
