I have no idea what this game actually is about but it looks nuts. Trains, jetpacks, dragons, swords, etc. WTF?

I vaguely remember playing the original at a friends house many decades ago. Adding this to the wishlist.
 
I am probably looking forward to news and the release (obviously) of FF7 Part 3 more than anything else. Though MGS Collection Volume 2 has my interest as well. I'd love to play MGS4 again albeit on PC if the optimisation/emulation is decent.
 
Every day that passes my interest in Crimson Desert grows... It looks like the open Western RPG I like, and the world seems so lively and full of fun activities/quests, unlike the "westernized" and dull FF XVI where you play in a barren world just long enough to get to the next big story dump/cinematic sequence.
 
I was having lunch with my friend yesterday and we were talking about Pokémon. I've been wanting to get into it since I have a Switch (not the 2 unfortunately), and she recommended playing Scarlett. Might check it out this week.
 
Hmm, I will hold back jumping into Crimson Desert, I want to see how it is six months from now. Pragmata and Forza Horizon 6 are my purchase priorities this year, followed by Star Wars: Galactic Racer because I have a certain personal stake in it.
 
Something on Xbox I've been meaning to post about for a while is:
High on Life 2. Played the first back in 2023, and I really enjoyed it. The game was pretty fun to play through, and one of the funniest games I've ever played. That said, with that and the fact that the first had a cryptic ending hinting towards a sequel, it's only natural I'd take an interest in it once it came out. Now that it's here, I think I will get it when the price drops! :) Though I really need to revisit the first game since it's been a while since I touched it again, and I have yet to even try the DLC that came out for it.

This is one of my most anticipated games this year, but to me, it's absolutely wild announcing the pre-order bonuses as well the different edition when we've barely seen any continuous gameplay. Hopefully there's a gameplay deep dive soon.

Stuntman Hollywood.

The underrated classic car action game is back, and with the added bonus of an official Universal license.

While there are some issues, such as some cars looking like fantasy cars from GTA (perhaps because Toyota and Nissan didn't grant them licenses), it still looks like it will be a pretty good game.

In short, here's what I'm trying to say:

I think i will go for Horizon 6 and Star Wars Galactic Racer for this year.

Finally, a legendary ps2 game is reborn, I absolutely loved the original video-game on my ps2 and played it to death. It was a hard game to play but fun nonetheless. It reminded me of a living room Saturday TV show I used to watch when younger called "Stuntmasters" but you actually playing it out in real-time. The game was a classic under the Infogrames studio under the Atari brand at the time.

I also played Stuntman ignition on my ps3, but need to revisit in my old library and check out those classic fictional films they made for the game.

Now this looks very promising and I hope it comes to fruition on ps5. Obviously using brand films stunts will work well to get a good round of enjoyable playtime. Hopefully the physics are on point like BEAMNG (which will be on ps5 soon) as that’s the closest to emulating the great psychics the original game had. Adding death race is sooo cool because for a longtime i wished we had a game of that cool film!!!

Also I hope they had good destruction models for the cars. The new games is handled by Saber intreactive.

PS2 version of Ridge Racer 5. I was hoping to see it added to last night on the playstation video but no so I've ordered it from Amazon.
 
After GAmefest, RE:V and FF7 part 3. Sf6 season 3 looks really intriguing as well. I'm still waiting for Dino Crisis remake, come on Capcom even if that ps5 Dino game do look amazing.
 
I'm really looking forward poking forward to FF7 Revelation, I've really enjoyed parts 1 and 2 and the original is one of my favourite games from my youth.

Beyond that, I'm actually looking forward to Metal Gear Solid Collection vol. 2, reviews pending, as I'm really looking forward to playing Metal Gear Solid 4 on PC.
 
In the mood for a new arcade racer. Still not sure about Screamer, but Hot Wheels and Galactic Racer look promising.

I wouldnt mind a modern daytona usa with more track and mp and Virtua Striker too. Hopefully if CT sell well it might happen. I just hope it will be reasonnably priced.
 
Ocarina of Time remake. Yeah okay, I never did finish the original back in the day but the moment where Link steps out onto Hyrule Field for the first time is forever etched into my memory. Still is easily my favorite gaming moment ever. Can't wait to do it all over again in HD.

 
After the latest Summer Game Fest event, Star Wars Galactic Racer this year and Crazy Taxi World Tour for next year.

Both of them looking fantastic and really glad that arcade racers (other than FH) are coming back proper.

Le Mans Ultimate (PC). I just recently learned of its existence, and having seen some footage of it, I was very impressed by how the cars sounded, especially since I have watched onboard footage of them for years now. Waiting for it to go on sale before I buy it, though.

NASCAR (PSP). Having gained a renewed interest in NASCAR over the past few years, and just recently getting back into the PSP, it's encouraged me to get a NASCAR game for it. Especially since I don't already have one for said system.
 
Some upcoming ones I forgot to mention are:
Toy Story: Retro Roundup!. This caught my interest when I saw it announced, since it came with Toy Story 2 for GBC, Toy Story Racer, and Buzz Lightyear of Star Command on PS1, all of which I am quite fond of, and what little I've played of the others I also enjoyed. So this naturally appeals to me, and I'm thinking about getting the bundle that comes with Toy Story 3 for Xbox and maybe buy it on Steam as well.

Spyro A Realm Beyond. Being a huge fan of Spyro, this is one I am cautiously optimistic about. I say that because it's undoubtedly going to be a bit different from the first 3 games, which could either be really good or really bad. I have confidence Toys for Bob will deliever with this one seeing how they handled Reignited, so I am eager to see what they do next.

I am excited for this but also cautiously optimistic. I like what they did with the Spyro and Crash remasters but not 100% happy with how Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time turned out. The game on it's own was pretty good, but it (to me) didn't feel like a good follow up to the original games. That may be have been impossible to do anyways, I mean how do you replicate the spirit of the original games made by an entirely different studio nearly three decades ago? But that's exactly why I think it will be tough to replicate what made the original 3 Spyro games so good.
