Left Analog stick always. Sometimes I even use the Right Analog Stick to Accelerate and Brake. It let's you be so precise with the throttle. :)

Yes the fine control really helps, I assigned R2 to brake so I can use both brake and throttle in a corner. Although I still use the right stick back for hard braking! However I have for the last year had a DFGT so use that 99% of the time, only using the DS3 with 500pp or less cars for a short session.

Left stick steering, right stick gas/brake, manual trans on R1 (up)/L1 (dwn) triggers. E-brake is O button, and turning wipers off is down on the d-pad lol

Since GT1 I have always used the Left Stick for steering and the right stick for gas/brake. It gives so much more control than any other method.

I do have a wheel, but setting up a place to use it is more of a pain than is worth it usually. If I had more room, I'd use that instead.

I use Triggers for (L2)brake and (R2)acc. , X for handbrake, Square and Circle for shifting. Triangle for reverse.

That's the same way I have mine set up. In forza on xbox, A was the clutch so I could change gears and clutch with only my thumb.

What are you folks using to steer with? The little analog stick on the controller or the pad.

OMG I just had a horrible flashback to slapping that silly-*ss joystick around with Bill Elliot's NASCAR Racing for Nintendo in the early 90's to stay down in the corners of the superspeedways :dopey:
