Any cars in GT6 with good sounds ?

Just was wondering,

I know that not all the sounds in GT are that bad,
And I just wanted to know if any of you guys know some good sounding cars?

I can tell you 1 that sounds totally bloody awful. The Integrale you win. I put sports exhaust on it & it sounds like a fat lazy v8 until you wind it up a bit. Its border line if its a glitch or not. I owned 1 a few yrs back & its nothing like it is in game. And thats my R33 in my avatar & they sound feck all like they do in game.

The Honda HSV has a pretty good sound, but overall the sounds are still quite awful.

Zonda C12, C12S, and C12S 7.3 stock.
Huayara with semi racing exhaust - Sounds like a 4 cylinder in chase cam, but in cockpit view the exhaust blends nicely with the engine sound (it sounds more like a DBR9 than an AMG V12 but still).

Audi 4.2 FSI tronic '07---(most Audis actually)

fully tuned---once you gear down on a corner ( or two) then it sounds nice


Found that with several cars in fact (not just Audi)--sound like crap (vacumm cleaner) gear down 1'st corner or two---then they sound not bad after that

@Obi Wan hey man but all the lamborghinis are all generic V10 gallardos. no v12 sounds. Did a sound test on goodwood between Reventon, Murcielago, Aventador, and Gallardo, all sound the same unfortunately.

At the OP, I prefer the Z GT500 model, that sounds amazing, the McLaren F1 sounds decent enough, most of the R8 LMS, the SLS AMG is okay at times, M5, GTR Stealth, Cobra Daytona, most of the GT3 cars are good.

I think the Bimmer E92 and the McLaren 12C are also accurate-ish sounding V8s.

Yeah they could be a lot better but it's the beat of a bad bunch. The diablo gt sounds awful though. I had the f1 on gt5 and I thought that sounded rubbish has it changed for gt6?

Not really, @Obi Wan the FGT sounds the same. If you want an accurate portrayal of current F1 car sounds, try the Red Bull Junior, sounds pretty well done.

My issue with GT is that theres a lot of ambient noise at times, you hear all these whooshes and whizzes that would only sound if you were driving down the freeway with the window down. Theres also the aspect of just recording the exhaust note. They should meld both the engine and exhaust note together to create a more realistic sounds, but its isolated to just the exhaust. waiting for this so called patch that was not really guaranteed, just mentioned.

Exactly. I reckon if they just turned down the transmission whine and the 'woosh' sound, and turned up the actual engine sound, sounds would be much more bearable 👍

They are too loud in the game, and they sound the same across all the machines, hence why people say it sounds like a vacuum cleaner. Especially those machines with Custom Trans installed, they're the loudest.

Back on the topic at hand, the SLS AMG sounds like an actual V8 in GT5, and a good one at that.

The car that I've enjoyed the sound of the most probably has to be the Ferrari 599 Fiorano - That thing actually sounds really accurate, and sounds even better with a clutch to make the gear changes sound much smoother.

it's not just the car sounds that suck, it's the sound design of everything itself, they've got it all wrong for a start, so they're gonna have to redo quite a lot of things before the sounds are even Believable.

3. Download the sound and putt on loop
4. Get the same car in the game
5. Do the 24 minutes Le Mans race

You think it's silly? Do it and get back to me Sometimes the sound from the video will match the revs/gear changes in the game - epic moments

Different opinions I guess. To the other poster mentioning the ferrari 599, I think it sounds like a Aston Martin rather than ferrari v12 If I'm honest.

Redbull X2014 Junior and X2010/X2011 sound amazing. It is SOOOOOOOO much better than in GT5 where it sounded generic.

Yeah, Redbulls have quite different sound now. They recycled the sound of the Ferrari 599 on the Aston Martin DB9, V12 Vantage, One 77 and the Volkswagen Nardo 12 concept. Pretty hopeless sound design, very lazy.
