Any cars in GT6 with good sounds ?

I hope Kaz wont fool us with the sound patch he mentioned....in an interview before release of GT6

Yes, I remember seeing the article on that.
If that update somehow happens, it'd better actually make a difference to the already crap sounds.

But this update is going to have to effect over 1200 cars, and that my friend is NOT an easy job by any means.
 
The mk1 Lotus Elise Race car (RM from GT5) sounds great!
 
Lets all estimate when we think PD will finally fix the sound -

I guess about GT8. If there is one. xD
 
The new redbulls in the challenges x2014 junior, and the prototype sound way better to me. like an acctual F1 car its pretty sick.
 
Quite a lot of cars do imo, many mentioned in this thread. First time I heard that X2014 Junior in the race with the entire starting grid made up of them, oh my God…

I have my bass turned up a bit with my surround sound system, and honestly, it was deafening and seriously powerful stuff. Like I was driving a rocket ship lol.

I think the Honda HSV-010, Mazda 787B and the X2014 Junior are my favourite sounding in the game though.
 
how hard is it to make a commodore or monaro sound decent with a racing exhaust? they have the corvette ls1! The 04 GTO has a weird sound bug as it goes through the rev range with a racing exhaust too (like someone walked in front of the mic as they were recording lol). A long way to go with the sound in this game. but they did fix the falcon v8 supercar.

Sound system (that GT5 and everything else sounds superb on): Pioneer vsx-819 receiver running 5.1 through hdmi. mordaunt short front speakers with infinity center speaker and wharfedale rears. 1x yamaha sub 1x jamo sub. It seems like a mish mash system but it sounds good!

Redbull X2011 sounds epic! Apart from that, I would say the Lexus LFA.

Yep, nice choice. One big problem they have with their sounds is the gear changes. they don't connect at all, as soon as you change gears the sound just bangs into the next note, no transition what so ever.
 
The 1998 Subaru Legacy B4 (RSK) has a fairly accurate boxer rumble, especially at start-ups, and when you rev it up to 5,000 rpm's.

I agree! Apart from that, it's still nice to see some cars with raw and almost realistic engine sounds! Which the LFA has in my opinion.

And also, the X2011 sounds epic, maybe it's the new sounds which Kaz is promising us? I REALLY hope so!

Yeah I really like the exhaust note of the X2011. Really hope they update the sounds, and don't just get us excited and troll us.
 
Since playing GT6 the best sounding car in my opinion is the Honda HSV = awesome

Worst sounding car so far is the Ford Focus rally car 99 = terrible, a horrible repeating grinding sound!

Lol, that explanation goes for most of the cars in GT6 honestly :/ The sounds in GT4 where better than GT6 NO JOKE!
 
I enjoy the in-car view with the Corvette Z06 ('06). The R8 LMS's also sound very close to their real-life counterparts.

Yeah, I like the sound of the RB Jr. Although, on a fair few occasions I've started a race and found I have the sound of what I assume is the big RB car (at least from what I remember from GT5... don't have it in GT6 yet). :confused:
 
The X2014 junior is one of the awesomely sounding cars I've heard in a game to date! Just something about it...

Not gonna be mean but sure your not slightly deaf or something man?..
 
I saw this video of this guy messing with an equalizer and his sound was superb, I think it Just really depends on what sound system you're playing on as I play on a tin can speaker system straight out of my tv.... It's horrible rofl
