I use it sometimes, especially when one of the AI racers cuts me off. LOL
same on my controller (I own a DFGT but due to back problems lately I haven't been up to setting it up) much more useful the a horn button (or wipers on GT5 which I kept turning on by clicking the R3 buttonOff topic but on my DFGT I have a button to change the lights from high beam to low beam or vice versa but when the lights arent on I cant flash them :|
The high beam/low beam button will flash them, also there is a flash button you can assign. My problem is not being able to control when they come on.Off topic but on my DFGT I have a button to change the lights from high beam to low beam or vice versa but when the lights arent on I cant flash them :|
Always. So if you see a crazy guy (which FYI is a very bad driver) in an online lobby constantly using the horn trying to overtake you in a tuned silver C63AMG and simultaneously saying POWERRRR, you know who to blame.![]()
When i drive the KTM or other cars with no horn this is when i realise how much i use the horn, I find it annoying not having a horn especially on the starting grid when everyone is pressing their horn and i cant join in the fun lol.I use it sometimes, especially when one of the AI racers cuts me off. LOL
I do this exact thing so many times, Its worse in offline mode because of the annoying countdown and camera angles so i dont notice it untill its too late, Just put me in my damn car PDWhy yes I have used the horn.........
So my VERY first game ever online in GT6. I have manual transmission setup, no assists, I don't have a mic, and I ALWAYS race clean. I decide to have a little fun and start honking the horn. *peep* peep ahh good ole laughs while waiting for the timer to count down. In the starting grid I am located in 3rd position because that is where I was placed during the practice laps.
Countdown 3-2-1 I floor it...................IN REVERSE!!!! Instantly smash into the person behind me creating a chain reaction.
I'm pretty sure they cant see you flashing your beams, At least my friend said he couldnt see me flashing them and i couldnt see him doing it eitherlove coming up on someone bumper; following him; pressuring him with high/low beams and the horn... 90% of times they end up making a mistake and loose the car.. 10% i screw up on the buttons and lock up brakes on the bend... i all cases both drivers have a laugh as they know its just a game and its part of the fun.
Simply put, I will not drive a car that doesn't have a horn.
The fact the some of the rally cars now have functioning horns (Delta S4Hyundai Accent
) is even better.
The amount of people who yell at me online for blaring the horn constantly is silly.
I use the horn - like a range finder... beep the horn and you can judge the distance and direction to the car ahead by the return echo (You need good speakers or headphones of course - and a bit of practice.) - very useful for driving in heavy rain or foggy conditions.
