Ok, i think i just should be happy to have other things to do than constantly complain about Gran Turismo - wether its GT5, GT6 or every other GT game that will be released in future, you guys seem to be never satisfied and i really feel sorry to you :(

Uhm, thanks I guess.

First rule of this forum: If you don't like GT6 it is your fault. There is no way a human being can dislike the game because of the game. THIS IS THE BEST GAME EVAR and you should start liking it!
There are plenty of examples of constructive criticism on this forum.

Drive ( drift, race, cruise, rally etc) replicas online and offline, so many replicas posted on tuning forum, each are unique.

What "fun stuff to do" can you do in GT5 and in GT6 you can't? I can only say hotlaps on the Top Gear Test Track.

See below.
Offline single races are still missing optional mechanical damage, tire wear/fuel use, and one-make races (available in Practice mode in GT5). It is inexcusable that these GT5 features are still not in GT6.

Endurance races are also strangely missing. I tie B-Spec in with this because I read somewhere about being able to trade stints with B-Spec drivers. That (and for making money) is the only reason I care about B-spec, and the only way I can understand endurances not yet being in the game.

Please, don't make me create a huge list in this thread. The missing features from GT5 should be quite obvious to anyone that played it for several hours and there should be many other threads that list them. If the only feature difference you can see between the two games is the top gear track, there is no point in discussing anything.

Well, in my opinion, B-spec and offline endurance races are boring and I dont consider them "fun stuff" ;)
In GT6 some stuff got lost and some new stuff came. New Games from a saga are usually like this, they dont keep all the stuff from older games but get new stuff instead... how strange isnt it?

The reason this thread exists in the first place is people failing to see all these "new stuff" that were added to make up for the dozen or so things that were taken away.

Sadly I have to admit I am reaching the same point. I do think it's silly to ask for a refund or such though, every game gets boring at some point, and if you just do the career mode you're already busy for longer than most big budget full price games these days...

What about all the new cars, the new tracks, the new seasonal events, and in general all the career mode events? Nothing's new? really?
And more stuff coming of course, you just have to wait. Lets have a bit of patience

These are the reasons that a new game called GT6 exists in the first place. Having the least expected amount of stuff to justify a sequel does not say anything about removing popular features from your previous game without anything to replace them.

Seriously though, are we counting replacing a short career with another short career and dozens of seasonals with 4 seasonals as "new stuff"? You don't make much sense.

No thanks, I'd rather discuss my concerns.

Good ridance, i guess.

You are bored of the game, fair enough, that doesnt mean the game is boring and you get bored of it easily. Its your problem. In online mode, you can have countless of playing hours with those countless race types and combinations.

just like in gt5

oh wait gt5 actually has more online functions..
so why would i pre order a game with less functionality than a game i have been playing to death for 3 years, oh yeah because they promoted something thats still not out.

I wouldn't say I'm bored but am starting to doubt the promises. I been hearing promises that updates were supposed to come along since what?, December? And now we're almost through February and nothing that matters has happened. I don't count a few fantasy cars that I will never look at, let alone drive as very important. I'd have thought from the promises that certain missing features would have been here by now and a month ago was patiently waiting. Now? I'm still patiently waiting but my faith is wavering. I also find myself possibly starting to agree with those that have been saying they think PD has abandoned GT6 for development of GT7. I'm not bored but I do find I'm not firing it up as much as I'd normally do the last week or so. I also don't find myself looking forward to seeing an update message since the last couple of updates were anticlimatic and added nothing to the game that I've noticed.

I don't mind the "evolution" feel of the games lately but for the first time am starting to doubt it. When people like me start losing faith in Gran Turismo, that is when there could be a problem as I can be very forgiving. If PD can't deliver, then they shouldn't make promises with timelines. Don't be iRacing PD, your promises are starting to get as hollow as theirs.

The only thing I really miss is tyre/fuel usage in single player/arcade mode.
The game is far from perfect and FPS can sometimes be a real pain in the ass but for now this game had more quality content than almost any other game. Especially for the PS3.

A handful of new cars, a couple new tracks, and no way to fully use them. Seasonals and lame career races were already present in GT5 so nothing new there. Please don't misunderstand me - I do appreciate the S easonals, but I'm referring to your point of new content that isn't in GT5. And good thing you mentioned the new cars: I would love to do one-make races with the LLC Rocket. Maybe even a pretend old school Indy 500. How do I do a simple thing such as that? I'm remaining patient but it is beginning to wear thin.

This game is far far longer than lots of other PS3 games (I played lots of shorter ones), but if you still want to complain, keep doing it...
Seriously, what did you expect in a game like this? Pod Racing from star wars?

Yeah, like individual clasifficiation... oh wait.
THe shuffle is missing, true, but they might add it to GT6.

And of course, the new tracks and cars, what about them? Can you have them in GT5 aswell?

Personally, I'm glad B-Spec is gone and that we no longer have those ridiculous endurance races that were likely to blow up your machine  hated both with a passion and this is an instance where less equals more.

Starting off with the fact that I am not complaining about what is missing or the new content, I miss some of the "special" races that were included in the career from previous games. Also, I don't really like time trials, but I feel safe to assume that eventually they will release seasonal races again. Until then, I will live with what is there and take part in some of the events put out by this community, like the FITT tuning competitions.

You can do any sort of race you want in online mode. Any sort of race. If you dont know how to do it, then its all you.
To do a LCC rocket one-make, please limit weight and HP.

I'm still hopeful, but as time goes on I am losing faith. I expected to see communtiy features in January, and either the course maker or endurance/B-Spec in February and/or March. Well, it's February 13 and we still have none of that.

So you've still got half of Feb and all of March to go. Why panic so soon?

Perhaps I'm just different or easily pleased, or perhaps I'm just a car enthusiast who is more interested in the driving rather than the gaming, even though I consider myself both a fan of driving and gaming.

I personally find it very hard to get bored of driving, no matter what, where or how. There's a lot of features missing for sure, but as long as there's a variety of cars and tracks, and the physics are somewhat decent, then I won't be bored, I will get years out of GT6, just I have from every single GT game and various PC driving sims.

I don't care if I have to drive to the shops in the rain, I don't care if I have to drive a 2000 mile business trip for work, I just enjoy driving. If you get bored easily by driving, then I would have to question your enthusiasm for cars, or guess that a different type of driving game is for you.

This is not a defence of the GT franchise whatsoever, more on the whole driving aspect and driving games in general, I just don't see why someone would play a driving game if they get bored of driving, that's all. Just me, the car and the road, that's all I need, well, and fuel I guess.

So you went from GT6 having new stuff over GT5 to now comparing it with other random PS3 games. Every time a wall crumbles there's another behind. Talk about impenetrable defence.

but if you still want to complain, keep doing it...

Thank you for your permission, will do.

See the edit i've done in my previous message. I'm curious to see what would make you happy to have in GT6, because apparently some people are never happy.

You know what it's like nowadays. People play something for a few days and become bored with it. "Ok, done that, tried that, got the shirt, completed it in 15 hours flat. Next!" if no immediate response "WTF r u doing PD ffs?!?! I payed 60 quid/dollars/shekels for dis pos! Where da new features like course maker, GPS, cars, VGTs, umm.....cars, course maker!!? Kaz better get his act together cuz dis pos won't do!"

How can you be curious when almost all of my posts in this thread are talking about GT5 features we don't currently have?
