Anyone planning to drop GT5?

I stopped playing gt5 over a month ago. Boring with no new content so I won't put it in my ps3 till there's a nice content update. If it don't happen by sometime ill trade it in.

It keeps people interested in the game. I for one don't really like having to play the same tracks and same cars over and over again. What makes it worse, is that for the most part it's the same cars and tracks from Gran Turismo 4 too.

It's the rewind button, and I hate it. The most stupid feature in Forza 3.

Sure, you don't need to use it, but you will. Therefore I hope you can disable it in options which you couldn't do in F3.

They're already announcing DLC for Forza 4 and the game isn't even out yet. A total of 60 cars will be available by DLC by April.

This is the reason I am not getting Forza 4. They want to change us 2 times. Lol

That's why I want to be able to disable it, so I can't use it. In Forza 3 I always drove over my limit because I knew that I had a second chance.

There are pros and cons.. I think the pros outweigh the cons, especially for newer/less 'hardcore' players.

Anyway, it's only against the AI. Not like you can use it to win online.

Neither does the argument he's trying to rebut, saying Forza makes you pay for stuff that should be on the disc. Fact is games go gold a month or more before they're released, assets like cars are finalised before that even. It's hardly inconcievable that dev teams start working on extra content once the main game is finished and sent off to MS for certification.

Also most of the cars Forza have added in DLC for the last two games have been new cars released after the game, or at least new cars to the series.

2- I am not denying the exquisite detail of GT5's premium models. But, let me point out a comparison for you if this is even AT ALL the case: 20% of GT5's graphics are better than FM's.... the other 80%? Judging by your comment it seems the only gameplay videos you have seen were captured off screen and most likely viewed on your computer. Until you have seen the videos on your own TV in 1080p you wont know what you are talking about. Don't have an XBOX? Funny. There are FM4 videos all over the dashboard in HD.

3- The linked YouTube American Car Pack trailer is neither Autovista nor photomode. Do you know how many cars have been modeled at the 1M level for Autovista? (Hint: It is not all of them and Autovista most likely will not include any of the vehicles displayed in said video). 8- Finished that 24 hour endurance yet? Too bad you can only pause it. How long did you end up leaving your PS3 on? Not to worry; I heard the save feature was on its way months ago.

9- Save any tunes lately?

10- Create any liveries lately?

11- Made any money on the marketplace selling tunes, cars, or liveries?

12- How about those paint chips? Bet that is a hassle.

Compare it to the videos of the photomode that were released together with the kinect footage and you can see that the video you posted is made from footage of this mode.

If you compare it to the first replayvideos, you can clearely see the difference.

But 9 times of 10 when that dlc is released within a month of that game's release its more than likely a rip off that couldve been in the game Day 1
