Just bought GT5 for the main purpose of playing multiplayer when friends come around, and also single/time trial races.

Is there any way of unlocking all cars to use in this mode?

Thanks.

Are there any games out there where all the content is available without unlocking?

Almost every game ever made, of every genre, requires some sort of time investment before you have access to all features - Gran Turismo 5 is no different.

Perhaps you should play a little of the 1 Player game and earn some of the cars like the rest of us.... It's hardly ridiculous....

Arcade mode in GT has been a lame duck since GT4 tbh. More of a glorified practice mode than a proper stand alone experience like GT-GT3. Not that you've ever been able to drive more than a limited selection of cars in arcade mode compared to sim mode anyway.

Forza Motorsport 3 has everything unlocked right from the start.

No, I expect 2P and Arcade Mode to have more than a handful of cars available to play with off the bat - Just like in Forza 3 for example.

I'm hardly asking for every single car to be unlocked in the career mode, am I?

I think you can download a full game save with all the cars, and then favorite whatever you want

If you have GT PSP you can transfer all of those cars to your arcade garage and have access to 100 at a time. I have almost all the cars in all colors on my PSP, over 4k. They are all there in arcade mode for me to use, but I haven't used them yet...

:(

I think the only caveat to this is you can't modify or tune any cars you don't actually own in career mode, but otherwise having everything unlocked in Arcade (or Free Play as known in Forza) is kind of cool in a way, even GT4 required you to own the car in career mode to have them be unlocked in the Arcade mode car list, and tracks had to be unlocked also.

I heard somewhere that if you had GT PSP you could load over your garage to arcade mode.
