Are you sticking with GT6 still or you done with it after GT Sport announcing?

One thing people haven't abandoned is coming back to the GT boards to proclaim they've abandoned it. Definitely no shortage of that, for sure.
One thing people also haven't abandoned is making the inference that if you no longer play the game you don't belong on the forum either. Definitely no shortage of that, for sure.

Shall we keep dancing round and round?

I didn't buy a PS3 or GT6, and I won't buy a PS4 or GT Sport, but I'm done with GT6 because the group I raced kei cars on comfort tires with disbanded and there was nothing left to entice me to keep playing.

You obviously can't read well, so I'll help you out. There is an Assetto Corsa forum here on GTPlanet. I still get these things called Alerts from threads I've posted in, regardless of which forum they are in.

Why are you so perturbed about this anyway? !
I'm not perturbed, just kinda confused at the very limited options in the poll. I mean, there's many racing games available on both the PS3, PS4 and Xbox for console users, more for them who also have PC so I was voicing my opinion.

As has been mentioned, there's more to GTP than just the one game franchise and even though myself and others have 'abandoned' GT as you so broadly claim, I still have an interest in news and views on it so when I read the title of this thread/poll, my interest was piqued. Just because a game no longer holds my interest as it used to doesn't mean you can't hold an opinion on it. FYI, I do occasionally fire up GT6 if there's a seasonal event I'm interested in competing in, so reading the news section and GT boards is essential in this respect.
Since playing ProjectCARS on the PS4 I've been spoiled by the superior physics, sounds, graphics and gameplay (practice, qualifying, grid starts etc) in offline mode.
If GT released new game modes (highly unlikely this late in its life), then maybe it would get me excited again, but seeing as I've completed my career over a year or so ago, there really isn't much to keep me enthused. Even Track Path Editor was a short lived moment of interest for me, made some tracks, downloaded others, but ultimately it was the uninspiring gameplay that turned me back off.

Read what well? How would I know what threads you get alerts for?

This is how I'd expect most people who are still playing regularly to be enjoying it; they've found their particular niche in the game, what is fun for them. It won't be the barebones career mode, and it'll be different for different people. Er, so I guess it could be the career, but I can't imagine why. :p

GT6 Career mode is :yuck:, you should of tried (try) the WRS's Career Mode. Ohh I love a bit of advertising.

The community keeps me playing GT6, got a PS4 but it just gathers dust and will until what I enjoy moves over to the PS4 until then ill stick with GT6.

Just popping in to say i've lost complete interest in the series, and won't be coming back anytime soon :p
While i'm still interested in the older GT games, i just lost the interest of playing GT6... it's not because of my PS3 problem which i hope i could fix it soon but it feels that the game is just empty and i have better games to play on my PC or PS4....racing games or not.

I know what you mean. The game is full of things to do, but ehhh.

It really ends up being what you make it. It shouldn't be though.

Like @Loliblade ver2, which never posts in one of the GT forums ever (not even commenting about GT) and posts exclusively in the anime thread. IIRC I once berated him because of that. :guilty:

Replying to the poll: No HDMI-enabled TV for PS4 (not even a PS4 yet), so no.

I may have mentioned this before.

No.

The real question is 'why would I be done ?'
There isn't another version to play anyway.

Well, only can say whether your done or not. At the end of the day, if you're happy playing what effectively is a dead end game (unless you still have career mode to complete), then carry on.
As you say, there isn't another version to play but there are other racing games that can be played on both PS3 and PS4. Limiting yourself to just the one is IMO a waste.
If you have a PS4 I really do recommend pCARS as a good stopgap until GT comes to PS4. Hell, even Assetto Corsa will probably be released before Kaz gets the next GT out !

I'll be done with GT6 when its servers are shut down. Till then I'll keep playing it. :)

For real! I remember back in the day we didn't have online or great communities such as GTP. I can always find something to do in GT6, but it's as many of you said. The game only goes as far as the user wants.
