Sure, but I'll stay with the PS4 version until a PS5 is available for normal prices.

Edit -2/8
In my country, the price of PS5 has been hyped by scalpers by more than 200%.
Damn, even the dealers joined them in disguise,
Forcing consumers to buy together with other products, no separate selling options are offered.

I will get GT7 on launch. As I got a PS5 and an LG G1 TV for myself last Xmas, mainly for GT7 and Elden Ring. And will alternate play between the 2, as their release dates are so close to each other.

I actually got GT1-4 before launch where I live. Because back then PAL version's of games would take 6 months or more to arrive here in the UK compared to their NTSC counterparts and I didn't want to wait. And I also wanted to make sure I would experience them in their full screen 60hz glory, unlike the majority of pal region games which ran at a letterbox 50hz. I brought the US releases of GT 1 and 2. Japanese versions of a PS2 console alongside a copy of GT3 when it was first imported to UK. And the Chinese version of GT4, 3 days after it's release in Asia on new year's eve 2004. GT5 and 6 were launch day UK pre-orders.

Already preordered digital standart edition. I play gt from beginning. Even sport was very good after adding some single player content. So i bought ps5 and t300 alcantara edition wheel for this game and I can't wait for launch! 🏎️🏎️🏎️🤟

Im torn between pre-order and wait to see if Iit has a linear throttle. It is very close to a "must have" for me. Being able to throttle control (70-90%) faster cars is a mess with the non-linear throttle currently in GTS.

Not interested at present, but, that may change in the future...

It's interesting to hear from the more 'hardcore GT fan' contingent (I can only assume this based on the fact you're browsing a site called GT Planet!), and that so many are either reluctant, going to wait, or simply uninterested. To me it illustrates why this GT is really important insofar as determining whether the series stays relevant

Pre-ordered the 25th Anniversary steelbook a few days ago on the basis that it'll allow me to jump straight in with the digital PS4 version. That leaves the PS5 disc ready and waiting for when I do eventually make the transition.

The Gran Turismo series is the only gaming franchise I have bought every single (main line) release at launch. GT7 will be no different.

Will you be buying this at launch, wait until reviews, wait until on sale, or not interested?
Pre-ordered the PS5 25th Anniversary Edition and can not wait. Got PS5 at launch and this is the games I've mostly been waiting for. Annoyingly though, I am having some issues with the brake pedal of my G29 set. (I hadn't used it for a while but thought I'd jump on the rig to get in some practice on GT Sport). Might be time to upgrade to Fanatec...

I've got every gt game since the original back in 97. I absolutely love the series and very much looking forward to getting my teeth into the new one. I love the fact its gone back to its roots and not just mainly focusing on the online side of the game.

I'll most likely wait until i've managed to get hold of a PS5 and then probably get GT7 when it gets reduced.

Not sure I follow. Only 2.6% currently are "uninterested", 17.3% say they'll either wait for a sale due to affordability / value or see what the reviews say.

The rest (80.1%) are committed to buying it at or before launch. Its really only the 2.6% saying they are writing the game off.

I have no doubt the series will remain relevant. I never had the feeling it was in jeopardy of not being so. Not everyone will be happy with every decision made in GT7s design but I think they'll make enough people happy to be a success.

I don't preorder games in advance anymore especially since I started buying them digitally years ago. The earliest I will buy them is 1-2 days prior to release or after a beta / early access event if I like what I see.

I passed on GTS for a couple years because it was focused on online competition but bought it later on sale when they added more SP elements. With GT7s return to the old GT formula, I'll be buying at launch unless something really unexpected comes up that convinces me otherwise.

Absolutely. I’m getting the physical 25th Anniversary Edition. I got a PS5 last October and I’m really looking forward to seeing how GT7 performs on it compared to GT Sport.

Might want to check the poll results ;-)

Pre Order the 25th Edition, still waiting to get a good PS5 Deal, for now i´m play on my Pro.
I Only have to talk with my Wife, that i want start this Game on our big TV at Livingroom :D!

I'd stick to very few websites for reviews. The main stream gaming press is largely clueless about racers. Eurogamer is decent though as they have a big motorsport fan who does their racing reviews.
I am indeed awaiting for Digital Foundry's analysis. And then, some fans opinions, mostly from this very forum.

I don't buy any games at launch for a while, but there are rare exceptions like the last God of War, much less pre-order, unless the reviews are very positive, i broke this last rule with Cyberpunk 2077 and i regretted it bitterly, so only after it was released, and to top it off, we didn't have any beta this time.
