It's one of those staple games for me, like Tekken, Ace Combat and others. Usually a day one buy.I never pre-order games, but for gt7 I will make an expection.
But I thought GT wasnt a racing game? Oh and most "racing players" have played GT. It doesbt mean they must like and play any game PDI serve up just because it has GT on GTS cover. PDI should do a better job to keep us old schoolers interested.GT series is a must for the racing game players, I have all the Gran Turismo games since GT3, and I pre order GT7.
If you don't play GT you are not a racing player.
Where can I sign up for this cult?Wow those ppl that voted for not interested should be automatically banned from This site
Geez mate, you're taking it a bit seriously. It's just a video game. Like any other game, you pay your 80 bucks and if you don't like it, trade it for something elseI don't have a PS4 or a PS5, so no, I don't have it on preorder.
I played GT6 for a while after release, got annoyed enough at Polyphony dragging their feet over putting out advertised features and generally just not making an effort to improve that I started getting more heavily into other games. It turns out that there are non-Gran Turismo games out there, and they're just fine. Some of them are even pretty good. I intentionally didn't buy GT Sport after my bad experience with GT6, it didn't look like anything worth buying a console for when I had already been playing iRacing for years.
I'd like to have another GT game that makes me feel like I did when I was young and playing GT1 or GT3, but I'm not falling over myself to give Polyphony my money. They lost me by selling me a couple of pretty ropey games, and so they can show me why I should be excited to buy something off them instead of spending my money on something else. So far GT7 looks fine, but so far I don't see anything that would make me buy it at release for full price.
FWIW, I'm not even one of the people who voted "not interested". I voted "wait for reviews", because I still hope that it's better than it looks. But I understand how people might be into GT as a franchise but not interested in a particular release.
To be honest my question was if people were getting it at launch. I added a few more options to the poll to make it a little more interesting. No option for "I'll buy it eventually" or "When I get a PS5"?
So Eurogamer run Digital Foundry's content but they are a separate 'company' as such. I'd recommend watching the DF analysis, the Eurogamer review and of course GTplanet.I am indeed awaiting for Digital Foundry's analysis. And then, some fans opinions, mostly from this very forum.
Standard edition for me. Classic GT games have always been about starting with minimal credits, buying a second hand small car and working my way up from there. I feel having extra credits from the beginning kinda goes against what a standard GT game is for me.real question: are you buying the Anniversary Edition or the Standard one? Can't decide. There is a lot of real life money spending in February for me + I bought new From Software game, so I am counting every penny right now. Pre-order is a no brainer but I can't decide do I need thatYaris livery1.5mil bonus or not?
What is your decision guys?
I am afraid that some fancy expensive car will be required to take part in Daily Race C or whatever online race it will be first week. Don't want to miss online races at all.Standard edition for me. Totally understand why people with less time on their hands would prefer to start off with those extra credits though
1.5 mil credits is a small amount for ā¬30. I bought the standard edition.real question: are you buying the Anniversary Edition or the Standard one? Can't decide. for real. I preordered 6 games in my life knowing all of them will be my favorites, and I was right.I already preordered the game despite the fact that I'm getting digital, just. to stick to the people who are all like "never preorder games", like bro just don't preorder games that end up sucking and it won't be problem.
Lol. First you accuse me of lying about not having the game on preorder. Then you don't even bother to read the first sentence of my reply (that you quoted) that says that I don't have a PS4 or PS5.Geez mate, you're taking it a bit seriously. It's just a video game.
