the no 2 player thing bugs me the most... since i've probably had more races against my brother than the AI, this is a big big big letdown.... For shame PD
No more 2 player memory card battles... crappy replay options.. DO they at least give us an option to change tires????
Well, somewhere buried in one of those "OMGGT4SUX" threads is a comment by me to the following effect:
The U/C and PAL versions are not yet available. How do you know these "problems" won't be fixed by then? What proof do you have that the American version of GT4 isn't going to have a garage in Arcade mode? Or a FR Lightning?
Isn't that pretty much the sum of the arguments? One typo and a one (rather minor, if you ask me) omission from Arcade mode?
I was dissapointed for a few days ago, but with the vids I've seen I cant be! the game is to good. Its some things that could have been better but... well I havent played it but I know its wonderful
how easy to insert? please give a very detailed explanation on how you insert these "option" into the game. i'm hoping for some in depth programming code mumbo jumbo here too.

I'm still annoyed at the car list, put some more European cars in the game. And also the time penalty when you hit another car or the wall is going to get very frustrating.

Man, the thing is that GT4 is done. The only aspect that will be different from the Japanese version is the language and maybe some other superficial details.
What I mean is, the game is what it is, they won't change their "mistakes" with the American release. The way you put things seems like you're saying that the Japanese version is some kind of "beta" and that the American version is going to be the final.
Can you imagine how japanese/chinese people would feel if PD change the Ford SVT Lightning to FR (and it's NOT a typo, the car behaves like a 4WD), if they allow you to use your garage cars in 2-player races, or if they correct other aspects that change the "core" of the game?
I don't know about you, but I would feel REALLY mad if I had the Japanese version and they fixed the issues in the American version.
As a GT drifter, that sweeper in Egghead's Seoul video...omg...so fun...
Also, Motorsports land, which essentially looks to me like a go-kart track, is ideal for low-power FR drifters. I can't bloody wait!!!
