Yes - visually it doesn't look any better. It appears to be a game with less features and less of the important tracks like Spa and Le Mans. It must be being rushed out because a lot of vital features are missing - to be added later SMS say.

I don't care about the car upgrades - that isn't something that floats my boat!

It could be still fun a little bit... But it feels like rushed entry to get some of the last gen audience before next gen consoles came out. I mean. This could be a nice game for a discout treatet more like Pcars spin off than real entry.
I don't mind getting controller support right and fancy new career mode (if it is fun then whay not? ) but cutting game of features. tracks and making a stupid Forza like class categories it is just a deal breaker for me.

I don't mind it being a more arcadey style but seeing the messy car classes, I'm skipping this for launch. Will probably pick it up when it goes on sale a year later when it is cheap.

This classes affair made me want new Redeemed GRID game with much more effort put into it. Maybe they will even bring Pit-Stops. Having sort of Arcadey ProjectCars 2 with all of motorsport greatness would be awesome.

Not sure why Grid never tried having pit stops, seeing how Grid Autosport did with endurance racing and its tyre wear I thought pit stops would be the next step if a sequel happens but it didn't happen in Grid 2019.

pCARS 3 could have fill in as the content packed version of Grid but it made a mess of its own now.

There was plenty of request for PitStops on official GRID forums. Codies stated that for now they will consider every request for future GRID title. I think it is possible we will see something like this in the future. I just hope they will put effort into GRID franchise this time.

And Project Cars 3 for now it may have more content but it's immersion is even less appealing than GRI's.

I hope so too, since numbered Dirt is being handled by a different studio now they have 1 less IP to work on. I do hope we get a better Grid some day.

I don't think it will feel like more content when the cars are jumbled up like that, it looks like limited car class choices with a good set of tracks.

If the overall vibe of impressions are positive; definitely digital...the thought of walking over to my console and inserting a disc is so PS2/OG Xbox

There's a bit of crossover between GRID and DiRT Rally teams, since they're in the same building. Not a huge amount but enough. Bear in mind Rally team has future projects of its own as well.

Preordered a digital version for PS4 since it's cheaper than buying a disc where I live.

Okay ignore my post from earlier, I have the Digital deluxe edition downloading now. BUT! Only because it was £59.99 on CD keys. I thought I would share that as that is £15 cheaper. Spotted it when looking around for £50 xbox credit as I was just going to get the normal version. I won't link to it as I am not sure if that's allowed.

Probably going to be physical for me as being into more serious racing i'm unsure that it's the game for me and I can at least put it into my local exchange shop if it's a dud. Plus although i've been going the digital route for a while now it bugs me how the digital versions of games are always more costly.
