Rather have japonese than american.

Cant wait till they finally release the honda hsv-010 gt.
 
Love the car selection, don't mind the vast numbers of Skylines, MX5s or S2000s, don't mind the duplicates from different regions. Doesn't GT5 have the lowest percentage of Japanese cars so far from a full GT game? Maybe that was GT4 due to GT5s regional dupes effecting the Japanese makers more.

The problem with this poll is it doesn't ask if we'd rather see cars from the rest of the world as opposed to a constant flow of the same Japanese cars (because they only make so many).

I'm not "sick" of Japanese cars, I just want the rest of the world represented on a more equal level to Japanese cars.

Seriously though, the majority of cars in NZ are Japanese so i'm used to seeing so many.

There are a better range of Skylines they could be using, instead of GT-R's with different names. Mainly the non GT-R versions, (R32 GTS, R32 GTS-4, R33 GTS-4, R33 GTS-25t, R34 GT, R34 GT-FOUR, R34 GT-T etc etc).

And i still can't believe they've never included a C33 Laurel and A31 Cefiro - they are heavily used in drifting over here (all use the RB engine, and the Laurel and Cef have RB20DET versions too).
 
I hate them, always have, always will. I like the Datsuns and the Subaru 360 though.

No way! GT has taught me how many weird and wonderful cars come from Japan, and I enjoy driving them all!! :D The only cars that bother me are the 'Regional' Duplicates i.e. Lexus GS300 Vertex Edition '00 and Toyota Aristo Vertex Edition '00.

With the cockpit view for all cars (though simplified) now that should make some difference as the Lexus is LHD and the Toyota RHD.

AH I completely forgot. Slipped my mind. They're not so annoying anymore. 👍

Initially, Kaz wasn't going to add cockpit view for the standards, so this is just a coincidental bonus with the cockpit view Left hand, right hand drive. A good number of the standards will now serve a purpose.

Crap I voted the wrong one lol... I thought the "enough with the Japanese cars already" meant that we were sick of them in GT5...



Anyhow, I hate Japanese cars.

A large portion of their custom comes from outside of japan, PD must move forward with the times and its clear lots of people have lost faith in them, I dont think they can get away with such a weak line up in gt6, I was amazed when i saw forza4's car list, PD need to take a look at that.

Well, at least, the naysayers can't say the "they're in it for the business" crap as easily anymore. Kaz feels indebted to his Japanese fans because they were a big part of GT's start. He said something along those lines. I wouldn't blame him if it were a selfish motive. Constantly working on the game shows that he isn't a selfish man. Caring, generous, beautiful man lol.
 
I don't really care unless if it's a Honda.

In which case I will murder the damn thing.

And with that in mind, we'll go by your principle, hopefully Japan sells 75% of the world automobiles, and by the way, don't forget China and Austrailia. :sly:
 
japanese cars is like modeling clay. you can do whatever you want, however you want with them. that's what makes them so popular and unique! >:U

I want to gauge the opinion of GT5 gamers on the ratio of Japanese to all other cars in the game.

I have played GT since GT1 and it got me interested in JDM tuners but PD has just started to force feed Japanese cars by overwhelming the GT5 line up with them.

Ok I get that PD is a Japanese game developer and they love their cars but it's time to focus on other cars in the world that GT fans want, I mean they focus so much on Japanese cars that they are starting to make me hate them! lol.

I hope other GT fans feel the same and PD see's this poll and wakes up!.

Also I can't believe they have missed the Pulsar GTiR ever since GT2, it is quite a iconic performance car (rally derived) for Nissan back in it's day.
 
there are to many of each model(GTR, mx-5, s2000, nsx,silvia)
 
I have no problem with the number of Japanese cars, I enjoy a lot of them. If PD is going to release more Premium cars availible for download, I don't care what country they are from. Besides, I wouldn't mind having an R32 JGTC GT-R or a KPGC10 GT-R premium, espeically if the KPGC10 has an RM option.
 
I enjoy the Japanese vehicles in the game, and I'm actually trying to collect all of the Skylines, Miatas, and S2000s. However, I think that there are too many Japanese cars compared to that of American, Euro, or Australian makes. I mean really, we get three variations of the Mazda Demio (one being a Mazda 2), but we don't get, say, a fox body Mustang. That, I don't like.
 
Adore them, every version of the Skyline, right down to the Suzuki Alto.

All these Skylines and Miatas have been in the GT series since the first game, would you really want them gone?
