👍Now, if the question was: Do you want more European cars? Then the answer would be yes. Do you want more American cars? Yes. Do you want more Australian cars? Yes. But do you want fewer Japanese cars? No.
Earlier you said that our opinions won't change what PD do. Obviously with Spec 2.0 PD has shown that they do listen to the community, maybe not perfect, but they're listening and making changes. Look at how different GT5 was at launch. But I do agree, DLC has too many Japanese cars.![]()
the Skyline range. It's Japan's answer to the Ford Mustang so it's a bit of a legend.
What you don't realize is that it doesn't take PD an additional 6 months of man-hours time to create a slightly (or very slightly) different variation of an existing car, therefore not including (or even removing) them wouldn't automatically have made it possible for their staff to model the cars you want. But, i don't understand why they need to have things like MNPIII or GTR Black mask skylines, and leave out cars like the '69 Boss 302 (a sucsessful car in various forms of motorsport).

So where's the duplicate non-Japanese car then?💡What you don't realize is that it doesn't take PD an additional 6 months of man-hours time to create a slightly (or very slightly) different variation of an existing car, therefore not including (or even removing) them wouldn't automatically have made it possible for their staff to model the cars you want.
It's pointless to complain that there are too many of the same cars... chances are it took a few dozen minutes to make most of them in the case of Standard cars, or something more in the case of the few Premium "duplicates", over a total development time of years.

NikkedWouldn't early celicas be more of a Japanese mustang? then the Supra range?
The skyline is more of a Japanese M3...the ultimate version of a domestic passenger sedan. Until the R35 when it became a serious competitor against the likes of porsche...
Nerveles...

Its sucks that Australia is largly ignored, except for GT4...but GT5 has TWO cars, and standard ones at that. Pathetic when you consider that the '71 GTHO was the fastest 4 door in the world, and cars like the Torana XU-1, GTR-X concept...then the likes of the FPV F6, a turbocharged Falcon with over 300kw's of power available...
Racing cars like "Green's Tuff" Dick Johnstons Group C falcon, Eggenberger Sierras, Brockies A9X torana...
I never said anything of the sort, and you're dodging the point. That PD chose for whatever reason (although it might simply be due to better communication and data sharing with JDM car manufacturers) to not include all possible model years and trims of the existing EU and US cars is not going to prove wrong that changing minor exterior details and car specifications is easier and takes much less time than modeling a completely new car from scratch.
With the actual question of the poll, it should. There's no reason to want "less" of anything they already have, the proper question is, "does anyone want to see the majority of new cars added to GT be Japanese, like they've done in all the past games."Haha, interesting that NO gets the most votes..

I don't like playing the nationality card when it comes to cars in the GT series. The way I see it- nobody complains about mostly British bias with Codemasters racing games, and I don't hear people complaining about mostly American bias with the Forza series, so why Gran Turismo and why Japan? I don't necessarily get sick of Japanese cars. I am never going to say something like "I wish Gran Turismo was less Japanese." In fact, I love Japan. I'd even want to see more American cars and a better emphasis on Australian cars (and maybe more Korean cars as well). However, I am not sick of Japanese cars at all. So my answer is No.
