Imagine Valiant Robin races on the PS4 - hahahahaha. (sorry just had to)All the Renaults you have seen are mods.

I just hope the console versions aren't the nightmare PCARS has been.
Like it or not, a huge chunk of the userbase won't be on a wheel, so some semblance of controller optimization will be needed. I've been holding off on getting a wheel for the current gen until I can get one that covers all the bases, and PCAR's controller setup is a joke. I'm not expecting a controller to be at par with a wheel for the finest of adjustments, but anything is better than what SMS gave us.
Oh, and if each update is a couple gigs each, I probably will just not bother.
Reminds me a little of Driveclub's loyal support from their developers in a way, which is good to know. Especially the methodical approach to fixing things and not breaking things at the same time. The latest PC build I tried had some big improvements for the joypad, felt console like as in GT or Forza but I only tried a few cars and laps. Not sure how this relates to how far ahead the console version support is and what they plan to do but seemed quite impressive.
The updates on PC are quite numerous even it it's so called released state, usually around 40-400mb. I'd say they just add more and improve the game rather than scrambling to fix stuff and break other stuff. I should note though that since the last big update I've fired up Steam quite a few times and been surprised that AC wasn't updating. Maybe they're busy with the launch. Anyway, the strong support after two years is great to see.

Uh...no...yeah no.I am more than happy with GT6. How much better can any future racing sim get? GT6 is almost perfect in every way already. We've already peaked I think.

Its literally one of the worst games i have ever played. Perfect cure for insomniaI am more than happy with GT6. How much better can any future racing sim get? GT6 is almost perfect in every way already. We've already peaked I think.
Sarcasm right?👍👍I am more than happy with GT6. How much better can any future racing sim get? GT6 is almost perfect in every way already. We've already peaked I think.
Take two. Tentatively rounding the first corner, we pay more attention to the tiny signals coming from the car. The Thrustmaster 599XX EVO 30 wheel 505 Games and Kunos Simlazioni have provided seems to come to life, giving information about the surface of the track and the Ferrari's grip levels. we don't want to risk another spin, so after gradually feeding in the power, the 458 stretches its legs up the sweeping curves of Eau Rouge.
Despite being a three lap race of a twenty corner circuit, it feels like we've taken at least 100 separate corners. Unlike other racing games that make each corner feel like a practised routine, every corner in Assetto Corsa feels like a fresh, new challenge. As you enter each kink, corner and chicane, you're forced to muscle the car through, using the steering wheel and accelerator to navigate through it as fast as you possibly can.
The AI seemed good too, and when combined with the handling you really do feel like a proper driver. Unlike the Gran Turismos of old, you can't carve your way through the field like a knife through butter. To get the better of your opponents you'll need to think several corners in advance, nail your exits perfectly and position your car on the optimum part of the track. Anything less and you're not getting by.

Here's an interesting article from arstechnica based around an interview with Marco. Interesting to note that at first, they thought they might have to limit the game to 30fps

I suggest you pick up AC when it releases and the fog may be lifted from your eyes and you might just see the lightThat's what I think. I have a PS4 and DriveClub. GT6 is wayyyyy more polished and thoughtful. A lot of effort has gone into it.

Yeah GT5 is the only one which could be even closely held against the current lineup...sort of...maybe.Did you ever play GT5, a substantially better game?

this video, I believe shows all the cars and track available.
Visually GT6 can't hold a candle to DC and since DC is an arcade game, comparisons on physics are pointless. Which part of GT6 is wayyyy more polished and thoughtful than DC?That's what I think. To be fair, DC isn't actually too arcadey, heck it's about to get a mode which you can disable TC, ABS and whatnot. It's more accurate than people let on I think.Visually GT6 can't hold a candle to DC and since DC is an arcade game, comparisons on physics are pointless.
