They're working on getting 1.0 to all early adopters before releasing it to the general public... nothing's ever good enough for you, is it?

Well then they should share this with us sir. Everything is top secret. We know nothing about the game and where it goes.

No nothing is good enough for me sir. Not everything is sunshine and smileys all over the world and flowers everywhere. This game is not even half done. So is it too much if I ask what is up with the game?

Raceroom is also in Beta stage and we get infos all the time where the game goes, what will be implemented and when the next big patch will come (october 7th).

OMG, that's on hot american woman.

Ferrari vs. Corvette in GTPro class. And Porsche since URD is doing the mod version.

Epic battles.

'Nuff said.

There is also the Rift and an PS4.

I thought Oculus Rift is something that the game already supported. As of the PS4, it was mentioned somewhere before that they could be looking at release on "Next-Gen" console in 2013. I wouldn't be surprise if they announce plans right after the AC 1.0 that they will be launching PS4/X1 mid-2015 just to give themselves an extra revenue stream.

Don't forget that they architecture for this generation of consoles are much closer to PC than it's ever been so it's logical to target the consoles as development time is less than what it used to be.

Maybe not as a major title but more so in the indie category as this is also part of the game console strategies is to attract smaller game studios to release smaller titles which have revolutionise mobile gaming. I think Kunos fits right in this category especially given the limited amount of content. They just need to price it wisely and go for volume with the base game and they make lots.

Ideally, the last 9 months would have made them bucket loads cash and fans if they were to launch the title on PS4 given the amount of vacuum for a quality racer.

Once they update the multiplayer, I hope they add in ranking system similar to Iracing safety rating for public racing, to make it more serious and less bumper car. IMO It makes a large number of grid more enjoyable and it makes people more aware of their surrounding.

I hope for this too. But I guess that it works in iRacing so good because people must pay monthly for it.

I think it can work in any game so long as it's optional in lobbies so we have the choice of entering a ranked or unranked room. As much as I want this feature I honesly don't think it'll be very popular because it's too "serious" for most people.

I don't think that'll work on a sim like AC... I mean, what's an official session, what isn't? Will there be a governing body that determines what's your fault, what isn't? race marshals in every race? Who's to say people won't make bogus races with the exclusive goal of artificially upping their rating?

Even the iRacing system isn't perfect and the only reason it works over there (many people debate whether it really does) is because of their business model.

It could be something as simple as counting up the number of times you contact other cars with some kind of algorithmn that takes into account number of cars in the race, size of the track, length of race etc. I know everyone worries about other cars hitting them and costing them "incidents" but those things all average out over time equally for all drivers and generally cleaner drivers end up with with better driver ratings because they avoid making risky maneuvres that often end in contact. Those drivers that naturally drive more recklessly and have lots of contact will have their ranking blown out of the water quickly and be relegated to the unranked rooms or forced to create their own to race in. Leave it up to the hosts to determine whether their rooms are ranked or unranked.

Like what Johnny said, it doesn't have to be as good or as complex as Iracing rating. It could be a drivers hit point status on where the accident happens, like more hit points on the front bumper means it could be a reckless driver, vise versa if they have more hit points behind. Though, I think the host will need some help from the people to identify this. (Like how counter strike player determine if the player is a hacker or a terrible player if they looked at their stat history.) You're right, Iracing's rating isn't perfect, well no online session is perfect, and we can't avoid those stat padding people, but having rules like this helps a lot to make a clean race.

The Race Department thread doesn't mention anything about a Friday update. Unless that was stated elsewhere, I wouldn't get your hopes up.

Also, the way I read it was that they're still debating on the career mode. It's not both.... it's an either/or decision.
