Question @TheRealCeeBee None of this rain stuff really works for us until they release CSP 1.6.3, correct? Right now I have

Well...not one for the purists......

It is what it is, not tested on normal tracks so if you have the ovals give it a blast around those.

This is a drift model with new physics for track use, no longer a drifter.
Not sure who made it or re modelled it but they did a great job!

Again not claiming to have done anything but make something from a drift car, did a few skins, there is a config to remove glass on track.

It handles like a banger car......
AI aggression to 100%!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

(if the original modder comes on here i'll remove it once i see the email from Turn 10 giving you permission to use the model....if not then we are simply all doing the same thing..)

Did you see the Northampton track i posted up has both dirt and road versions?
Northampton is all shale/dirt now.

Yeah I have got really into this UK oval stuff, a lot of fun in AC and looking through youtube at the various vids from past and present.

I went on wreckfest last night and downloaded all the uk oval stuff. Its good, but its not AC good, wish these guys had stayed with AC..

Hell yeah, gave the dirt legends a run out, and it was brilliant. Hot rod escort and asphalt legends worked nicely as well. F2004 F1 car not so much. Thanks again for these. Dirt ETRC trucks?

Noice, Wreckfest still holds the crown for destruction but it'll be fun to see how AC handles a bit of banger racing. I did try looking but is there a version of Arena Essex floating about?

Not that i can find. Found i couple of drift ovals which could make good dirt ovals so that is something i will look into and see if i can make them look a bit better with grass fx etc.

Yeah I joined the UK hot rod Fascbook group a little while back and have their 6 UK oval tracks that they designed for their online league racing. Plus they did some UK cars. As you say, They are same the group that jumped ship with AC and did moved their league racing to Wreckfest. So the Assetto Corsa Hot Rod group is essentially no activitiy other than the moderator answers some question.

I guess I am doing the same thing that you are doing, I am also taking several Drift tracks and making them in to CIRCUIT tracks for either Oval racing or Go Kart tracks. Possible Ovals I have found are New Jersey, Orlando, and Gateway. I think I have a couple others, but cant remember the names. There are allot of drift tracks I could make into Gokart Circuit raicing.

Yeah the tracks off the facebook page where slightly updated since then.
Also my ones i posted up also have some grass fx and light configs plus shale/dirt variations and I got the dirt tracks kicking up mud etc.
The original tracks are as they were and i just did removable configs and skins so nothing lost if you decided to remove the skins and configs.

If you get any of these tracks your doing completed then i'd love to check them out.

Thanks for these, this car is a quilty pleasure of mine, so I'm glad someone has given it some attention. BUT, when I put the skins in, they have the 3 side stripes, goodyear above windscreen, headlight bar, but have nothing else - no numbers or other logos and are completely plain. Am I doing something wrong?

It is not the 1st time you don't pay too much atention to the obvious details. Did you see the rain? Did you watch the video?

In BLM Lights I made an option so that you can enable wet-like effects to roads by adding sections that modify some materials commonly used for tracks and curbs (you can also add defined materials for defined tracks).

I was thinking I could do the same for the new RAIN_FX CSP extension, so, in case there already isn't a rain_fx section for a track, I make a new one (that will be deleted when exiting or reopening AC) using common roads materials.

I have 3 preset screen HUD. On all them I'm using yours BL Car & BL Lights. Can't drive without them.

Not AC mods related, but...
Wouldn't this car be cool in AC? or maybe ACC or any future sim titles? Like a GT300 DLC or something like that with the Mother Chassis and JAF-GT cars too, those are cool as well.

They are powered via Lexus RCF GT3 V8 and a hybrid system. It took pole last Suzuka 300km

Sadly, I dont think a model exists anywhere, so it probably wont be a mod anytime soon unless its a premium one (Chivas, please consider). Or unless it appears on GT 7

I made a race AI and aggression 100%, I drove in 1m40s (without risk) and the AI in 1m49s!
It's so slow
The trajectories are not bad, but much too slow.
A solution to solve this problem? Thank you.

Great track, great circuit, thank you (I drove 120km tonight).
Ai is really slow (too slow at 100% with the Ford Escort and also the Guerilla GT4.
Very very bumpy !
I like it but with some cars it's almost impossible to drive (911 GT3 Cup) especially in turns 4, 5 and 6 (all the downhill).
In spite of that it fits into my favourite circuits 👍

I really need to refine the AI lines. I'll take care of those today. The bumpiness, I'll have a look.

Thank you for this track @Teddie I really like the different elevations in this track and is fun to drive even though it is fairly bumpy at this time. I put my cockpit view "Lock to Horizon" for VR. I did notice and lowered the friction numbers in the SURFACES file. Most of them were up around 3.0. There are KEY names in the SURFACES file for the pit area, but does not seem to be functioning at this time, maybe the KEY names need to be different.

I had no problems racing with the AI cars. Be cool to make the Jets in the air do an animated pass by. One of the guys in the Nascar Facebook page did a jet flyby on one of the oval tracks. Not sure how he did it, but looked cool.

Note: I just watched a you tube video of the real track, and the track is somewhat rough and bumpy.

Dave, thanks much man. I'll implement your surfaces changes in the next update which I'll put out in a bit. Man, I just noticed, those aircraft aren't even moving! lol. I'll have to check that. Looks silly with them stuck in a perpetual hover, since their planes.

anything super gt related would be welcome. i know chivas makes some gt500 mods but a good quality gt300 car in ac for this or the lotus would be amazing . Also the JAF gt300 supra is great too

Actually I could ask Natsuki (AVR, the maker of Nissan GTR GT500 2020) to look forward to make this car too, GT300 Supra was on at his Poll when Supra GR GT500 was chosen dominantly to be his next build at Twitter. But let's wait for him, shall we?
