It could be great to take the kunos Nordscheilfe road meshe and blend it with the start finish part of the Nordscheilfe 1965/67 track

Yeah that would be great...but maybe its too hard to do ?
 
Love the Escort but the lack of stock versions for the Mk2 is a bit of a bummer so I'm trying to make one with Wack's FM4 port :

Also trying to make a XR3i out of EarthWormJim's FH4 model but the blue lights are... Something else. Is it changeable ?

Hello all!

I asked permision to EarthWormJim to create the BTCC class 1 Escort RS turbo.
The result is beautiful and great fun.

I will share it if there's interest.

ACF is Assetto Corsa Fanboy, who seems to have left the modding scene.
TR246 cannot easily be improved to GT6 standards, I think - there's just too much wrong with it.
The best solution would be for a proper 1:1 conversion from the source files.

It's weird to me that you want a more accurate version, but admit to liking 100-foot high anime images plastered everywhere..?
Thanks for the clarification. Hopefully, like you said, someone can do a more 1:1 conversion. For the record, I said I liked the anime billboards more in jest, but of course I'd prefer a more carbon copy version , particularly in the areas of building textures and lighting. With current versions of CSP and SOL, I'd imagine it's certainly possible.
 
AC (vanilla) got a 46mb update. After this auto download/installation I get constantly the same error. Still testing what can be the cause and more important the solution.

When clicking Yes or No you get a second message that the drivetrain of the selected car might be broken. Tried multiple tracks and cars (KS, URD, RSS, VRC other mods etc)

Anyone else same experience? I will do some more trial & error and as suggested follow the suggested tips.

Edit: I reinstalled CSP1.74p98 and it solved above. So reinstall (only this preview version of) CSP after the AC auto update. So maybe useful if anyone else gets the same error messages?

So, I am calling on @Fall Guy and @TaistoTurri (and others) to put their touches on it, lets see if it can rival the current offering :)

Thank you, a netkar pro track to drive in VR against AI is a special threat, fixing a hole in Assetto Corsa that Kunos should have filled a long time ago but never did.
What a DLC it could have been. all the NetKar pro tracks and the cars while we are at it.

Why only 2 pits?

Wow, thank you soo much.:bowdown:.just raced the M4 Lenz Spec against Kunos 911R for an hour straight and had so much fun. Love this track in netkar Pro, still a beauty and much much fun in assetto.

This community never stops amazing me. Keep up the good work.

Yeah, I already have that version. Much the same but the new version is already better. With some nice touches it will be very much better.

Yeah, that other version is from 2014, so obviously missing the latest features.

On the plus side, @RMi_wood 's version should be fine to be uploaded to Race Department if this other version has been on there all this time :)

Hello guys!

I share my Escort RS 1600 turbo BTCC class1.

Made from EarthWormJim one with his permision.

It needs some tweaks:
It has a kind of blue neon light in the ford logos when lights are on, for example.

the template for skinning is a pain in the ass 'cause has several parts.
I made the the Datapost one.

Inside the rar you will find templates and old photos of liveries.. SO skins are nedeed!! :)

The car is very fun to drive and it matches quite well with the AE86 ATCC. both compete each otger back then!

This is my first mod for the community and not the last one.

I've never posted about it on GT Planet? At the moment I'm still coming off combined burnout from a job too similar to a hobby, indirect Covid related issues, and the general thing with modding these days being about rips being flung around everywhere as fast as possible, which I'm not wasting my breath to tell people to stop doing, but it also doesn't do much for my motivation doing things from scratch Last I time I was on this, I was chipping away at the pitlane and infield buildings...I also had done a few things in ways that weren't so great, as this wasn't originally being done with the idea it was going to be a "quality" track, it was for something else that then fizzed out...I ended up digging out my old crusty fictional track Majura Valley to test doing things a better way in a place where it didn't matter so much and also build some generic track assets, it turned out way better than expected, so It'll be going out first after some minor polish, bug fixes and once all the layouts have been setup...then all that new stuff will go back into this (and Wakefield)

Found still some things that could have some TLC to improve it a bit more. If you don´t like it, don´t use it. ;)
The antenna isn´t visible from all sides and the near landscape looks imo way too bright:

Just got home from work and checked it out. Very nice fixes, much appreciated.
 
I put together an ELMS based skin for @marc_13000 and @Blackcelica Ultimate Portimao for those of us who want another flavor, it's not perfect, it's my first real attempt at a track skin and the track has way, way more billboards than they used in the 2020 4 Hours of Portimao and I don't know if there is a way to hide models, so instead of leaving a ton of blank billboards I put some extra sponsors that weren't there but should still feel like the ELMS track. Oh... What Peugeot is that? Look like something out of Ridge Racer 7... I'll likely make a GT3 tune setup for it so I can include in my fictional Group 3 class. (don't ask... It's why I love AC.)
Peugeot Vision GT Gr.3/GT3 from Gt Sport. oddly its one of the few cars in the game that doesn't have an interior view so if you port it to AC it would be cool if u could add one :)
