p.s.
I could have released the cars one month earlier, but an issue with CSP 1.74 (on Bentley sprint) and some work at home with the inability to use my PC, made me delay the upload. Now with CSP 1.75 things seem fine, so here it is the whole package. Enjoy! ☺️
Regarding the fiorano content, we can close this case and move on.
Luis admitted that the garage was taken from a friend (whom he didn't disclose in credits) and didn't check the provenance, while also saying that his reaction (lashing out against people) was proportional to people critics (kof).
He was also found to have stolen assets on another track without giving credits but still putting a copyright on it.
The track was removed from overtake.
All ends well, they live happily and had children.
On a more important note, expect F1 2010 update next week, I won't bundle the F1 Skin inside the mod. Also is everyone happy if I use the 2012 leds colors on all cars now? or you prefer how the 2008 leds color looked?

Luis Barata submitted a new resource: Solitude 1967 - The Solitude racetrack is an 11.4086 km (7.0890 mi) race circuit in Stuttgart, Germany. The Solitude racetrack is an 11.4086 km (7.0890 mi) race circuit on public roads used for motorsport in the Leonberg area, west of Stuttgart, Germany...

This is another example of a track where he put a copyright on the track, telling people not to take anything from his track without permission, but in the meantime he does it without any moral issue. It's fine if it's him who does it, but wrong if it's someone else. And then he comes lashing out at people for giving a feedback because he is so perfect and worked Soo hard that nobody dares to say anything unless they have a bachelor in blender. He can't keep getting away with this attitude. "You reap what you sow"
The guy who had his assets stolen confronted him and he played dumb saying he did all by himself. And this is just another example, I'm quit sure if we dig more we will find other case of stolen assets where he put a copyright on it.

Wow, you sure do make a lot of assumptions about me. Didn't realise you knew me so well. If you actually paid attention you'd realise that the main thing I was uncomfortable with was the drive-by dog-piling on a fellow GTP member, rather than a balanced discussion. It all seemed a little nasty and vindictive to me.
Why are you so vehemently defending him, now that's a question worth asking innit ? I always thought you were against people like him (using other people's assets, claiming those as his and putting a frigging copyright on top of it).
If he was part of SD, SIMTRAXX or RTM the pitchfork would've been out a looooong time ago I feel, but precious Luis gets a free pass I guess.
Kinda reminds me of you going gung-ho on ClimaxF1 reworking 'your' Brno a couple of months ago, you weren't so forgiving towards him and all he did was re-texturing the track, not nicking elements from it to use on one his tracks.

You have been defending the guy more than he deserved. He treated everyone that interacted with him like ****, you will now say that they have no right to express their anger? Why?
You were so against the "you reap what you sow", if you piss off that many people, you can't expect that a "well balanced discussion" wouldn't turn like that. When the core issue aside of the work is the attitude. And everything we discussed were related to the ego, we never strayed from that path. You excused his "ad hominem" attacks, but you blame "ours".
You called everyone that dare say that the guy acted like a d*ck and how he treated them "popular opinion"
All of this speak for yourself. That you don't have the same value than us. Because defending someone who "reap what he sow" is excusing him. And if you excuse him for stealing assets, treating people like they are peasants while he is a god, then your values align with that guy. As simple as that
Edit : and now I learn that you did exactly what you are complaining about against climaxF1? This is peak hypocrisy from you. It doesn't matter until it happens to you? Is this it?

No. Check your facts please. I objected to him adding some textures then rehosting the entire updated track within days of the actual team releasing it. Totally different to what you accuse.

Again, I'm not excusing anything. I've had my own disagreements with Luis in the past. My objection was to the dog-piling. I'm not sure how often I keep having to repeat this before you stop ignoring it. And see my reply above re your last accusation. It might have been worth checking your source first?

You could have objected to the dog piling and saying "mkay guys don't do it all at once". But you kept interfering, finding excuses toward the guy. First of all you accuse us of doing "ad hominem" attacks when all we did was pointing out the ego of the guy on each answer. I have never seen you also saying anything about his attacks.
No worse, you have diminished his actions like saying there's no law that force people to be nice, and that we were just "disagreeing on the personality".
The only sensible thing you posted was on the matter of the track, that I had to be 100% as it was a serious accusation, and that even if it was true, he may have worked for kunos before. The rest was just trying to diminish his actions.
There was two choice for you. Either the matter of dog piling was what you cared the most, and in that case you would have simply asked us to not do it. Something along the lines "Guys even if he deserve it, it's no reason to turn to the other side and replicate his bad behavior, be better". Or the second choice, defending the guy and saying that we are in the wrong. "He doesn't deserve any of this, he didn't do much harm, free my boi"
You picked the second choice. And the wrong one.
So no mascot, you did not just object to the dog piling. You can keep repeating this and saying I'm ignoring it, your actions are more than that. You found excuses for the guy and never once, you have ever pointed out a single fault he did. Instead of that you diminished his actions.

I've seen people pissed, but honestly this guy takes the cake All that for a fiorano which reuse ferrari virtual academy assets (which shouldn't even be allowed in race department, and it may be the whole track in fact but didn't dive deeper) Ferrari virtual academy this guy EDIT ...

I objected to the dog-piling here on GTP as it seemed a bit gleeful and disproportionate to any rude comments he might have made elsewhere on a different forum.
I said there WAS A CHANCE he might have claims on the assets because he worked as a professional track builder. I still have no idea whether this is the case.
I said modding exists mostly in a grey area, which is hardly news. How many mod cars and tracks don't trample over copyrights? Not many. Even tracks considered 'legitimate' often use Kunos textures or marshal models etc.
Crazy how passionate we sometimes get about a car game.
Jesuz Christ guys, take a room and discuss that further elsewhere. 3 pages only dedicated to this person gets me really tired to read in a modding discussion thread.

No I agree with him, Luis got more attention than he deserved. While this all could have ended if it wasn't for Mascott defending again this individual, we should now stop the thread
