Zwartkops Raceway V2 - v2.02

"This a complete 3d rework of a previously released track. Aprox 75% of the track is completely new"

features:
  • 2 layouts, circuit and kart
  • 27 pit/grid circuit, 14 pit/grid kart with AI
  • RainFx, Lighting, etc
  • CSP required

nice one! but why did you remove the rotating mercedes sign :D
it´s not rotating anymore, but could be easily fixed.

Took the needed files from the old track.
copy these lines into the ext_config

[ANIMATED_...]
NODE = Mercedes_sign_rotate
ANIMATION = prototype_sign_rotate.ksanim
DURATION = 10

and download the file attached, remove the .txt and put it in the extension folder

Just installed and tried, the Merc star is rotating on my side... ;)
 
Addition to a small mod I did two years ago for melbourne_2019. That mod added some additional crowds around the track. This time I added animation to all of the country flags on top of the pit building. It won't animate the smaller F1 and Melbourne flags just yet. Those require making a new flag object. Since it took forever to place the 64 country flags, i'm a little burnt out at the moment.

You will need to add this code somewhere in your existing ext_config file to hide the non-animated flags:

[MODEL_REPLACEMENT_...]
FILE=melbourne_2019.kn5
HIDE=objscenery25_sub0

thanks for the reply by that do you mean the AO?. Sorry probably a daft question but i'm tired thats my excuse.

(if that is what you mean i have gave it no AO and still had the same issue, i am currently doing a skin slowly but surely)
What car is that, I'll take a look at it.

Well, I didnt remove anything. Actually when the WiP for V2 was started there was no animation nor a ksanim for it.
I animated it myself by hand.

Is it possible you have confused this version with another Zwart' track that has nothing to do with this effort

Can you try to remove/rename "rmi_zwartkops_raceway.vao-patch" and see if that helps?
Otherwise, no idea. To note, this issue was not reported in development.

As far as I know this node does not exist at that track. Did you add it somehow or what?

Thanks but no go. I removed the file but the walls still flicker. I've only seen it occur on this track.

Using csp 0.2.8.p1 and pure 2.38.

Used to have LP's version but it was just too slow
 
On a different note regarding the Datsun 2000 on patreon fiasco. I and a few others spoke with Mr BJ about the car not being a part of the paid patreon as it was taken from another modder. I have been told that it was a mistake to be in the paid tier, I have been assured it will not happen again lest I will have no choice but to travel to Australia and shove a crumpet up his arse, I dont take pleasure in this but actions have consequences.

Back on topic in terms of differences between the two models its all cosmetic.

Bit of a goof on my part. I forgot to match the ambient and diffuse values with the original flags. They probably rendered a bit dark compared to the original ones. Download the attachment to get the updated flags.kn5 file.

This is a mod of SAITAMA TOYOPET GR SUPRA, a SUPER GT entry vehicle.
This is a set of 2022 and 2024 models.
The exterior was modified based on the model of LM Corsa which was created before.
The interior was adapted from the LM Corsa model.
The vehicle data is also diverted from LM Corsa.
The skin data is only the 2019 camouflage pattern.
If possible, I would appreciate if someone could create skin data.
