For sure you have an older version or installed not properly. I have my own config for it, and it works fine

Ive deleted several time installed manually 3 time and still the same. Can anyone link me to the latest version please?

M08 Autopolis Fast Ai

Hello everyone, this is my second post about Fast Ai on GT Planet.
It's become one of the tracks I frequently drive ever since I first experienced it in GT7 it's a fun circuit.

Version 1.0 -> Version 1.1 Update Notes
- Fixed AI driving issues in Sector 3 (specifically with cars like the LMP2).
  • Adjusted the racing line in the hairpin sections of Sector 1 and Sector 2.
  • Adjustments were made to the AI usage zones in Sector...

I've fixed the issues with the Fast AI in Sector 3 at the Autopolis circuit and released a new updated version.
Enjoy the improved Fast AI! :)

First LMP1 pack of the TomSim cars. All cars received some updates and some new not yet released cars in there as well.

Thank you! It's a pity that, except for the Peugeot and the Aston Martin, all cars are shown as encrypted blue crystals in showroom.

Renault Sport Spider 1.1



Here is the update for the Renault Sport Spider.

I would firstly like to thank @norms & @Masscot for helping fix the known issues from version 1.0

Change Log:
  • Data file now unencrypted for those who like to tinker or have direct drive wheels etc
  • Revised engine limiter to 6800rpm as per real car.
  • Revised drivetrain, driver and ai ini
  • Mirrors are now fixed
  • Dials added to lights.ini to enable them at night
  • Number plate lights meshes now split so that black housing doesn't light up too
  • Tweaked LED display to be on at day and dimmer at night.
  • Repositioned LED display for VR
  • Added LOD_D
  • Roll cage texture baked AO
  • Revised leather texture on steering wheel
Known issues - rear blinkers wont work due to how rear lights mesh are, numberplate lights do not light up numberplate itself. Looking into fixing these.

SIMPLYGON ISSUE

On a side note I've spoken to one of the managers at Simplygon whose advised they are having issues server side for their free user license registration which is casuing the problem for those who do not have a full one. They are working on it so we should have lods generation back soon(ish)

Thanks for this, that file was causing me so many issues on every track. I renamed it and did a few tests and found all issues had gone it's now in the trash

The track quality and the existing AI are already excellent, but I felt the AI was a little too slow.
So, I've improved them to be significantly faster! Enjoy the enhanced racing experience!

The differences before and after the Fast AI patch are as follows

The test vehicles I used were the ACF LFM LMP2 and GT3. I found no issues in either single-class or multi-class racing.
Please try it out, and if you find any strange behavior or problems, let me know, and I'll fix it! :)
 
Does the basey in suspenson.ini is important, or I can adajust the radius on tyres only ?

I'm almost convinced he's on Studio 397's payroll as an AC library saboteur

the solution posted above (removing the appended text in surfaces.ini) indeed works on the installed track - but not always. Occasionally the checksum will still trip - and I've never found out what exactly is still happening. In that case, you need either a clean surfaces.ini or a full clean track install.

Could be an extra linefeed, or saving the file in a different character encoding That will cause a checksun error even if the text contents look identical - the files have to be binary identical to pass a checksum test.

While I appreciate the effort and zeal for AI making, Parri, the resident AI master, has already done an excellent Sebring rework.

He is generally considered the gold standard for AI reworks at the moment - and hopefully what Ilja and co. are testing on with the new AI behavior.

And finally, please consider having a look at Breathe's list to make sure an AI line hasn't already been made for a target track by a trusted source:



Look on the right hand side, past the "kn5 date" - there will be a set of icons that link to extensions for the track. AI reworks will be in that list.


Trusted high quality AI rework authors (off the top of my head, apologies if I miss anyone):

Parrilla, Thockard, myself (X90), IMEAN, mk-sg (a bit track dependent), Rainmaker (always safe and high quality, sometimes lacking speed), KevinK2 (same as Rainmaker), JocelynTurmel. I'll update this if I missed one or two, I'm sure I have forgotten someone.



If there's an AI rework mod from one of these authors in Breathe's extension section, give it a download. There's a high chance it's fit for solo racing.


I don't bring this up to chastise - I'm glad someone else is doing AIs! It's just that the AC library is so vast - and so many tracks need reworking - that it's a shame to waste work on duplicates of high-quality work already completed.

(I myself have a half-dozen projects on "hiatus" due to the latest CSP preview 0.2.12 breaking my AI line creation, and I don't feel like downgrading).

Hopefully this should get you on your way. Cheers for your efforts.

Love to see these cars still getting updates, and really like to see that you're doing more LMH/LMDh stuff too, I love me some fictional cars, you and LPdesign are keeping me fed on that front. Do you remember what any of the updates to the GT1, GT2, and these cars are? I installed the updated packs but I don't think the version numbers changed and there's no changelogs. Not super important, I just like to know what's changed.
 
What version of CSP are you guys using? I have been on 0.2.7(public) forever but I now see 0.2.11 is "recommended". For those on 0.2.11 has it been working ok? I am of the old school, "if it ain't broke don't fix it". But there are new mods that require a newer version of CSP than I am using. I do not care about rain or any of that stuff.
