I wasn't blaming you for any wrongdoing. The car was out in the public domain and you weren't doing anything wrong by sharing the link. I just felt people should know this was a leaked unreleased mod at that time.

• Context menu for filtering tabs, allowing to close other or all tabs;
• New sharing dialog to make sure link wasn’t lost;
• Detection for the AC FTH issue, with an offer to fix it;
• AC language now can be changed in CM Settings/Language & Regional;
• More encrypted models are supported;
• New setting section for switching on extended physics in Quick Drive (please use it very carefully);
• A few fixes, stability and performance improvements.

No it's cool, i was just defending my position on why I brought it up and i never felt you were having a go at me over your post or anything like that.
Truth be told, I wouldn't normally bother being the mod police (god I hate that term) and I know you meant no harm in sharing the link. Just wanted to clear things up as far as the back story on this one and why I called it out as a leaked mod - which it was at the time.
Thankfully it got released as soon as it got spotted out in the wild and a fix was applied too, and dare I say it's one hell of a good looking car. Even if I don't like the wheels that much.

This must be one of the most underrated tracks in the AC universe. It's a masterpiece. Can't think of a track that's more fun to drive with a bit slower cars. And it looks great. Hopefully this post brings a little attention to it.

EDIT: Original track link replaced with a latest version (0.96). The skin and config also updated to work with an (unfinished) extended layout included in v0.96.

I was about to bin this track as it was outdated. Oversaturated, below par vegetation, horrible grass. Then you came along. Quality update! Thank you!

Sorry @JakubP for posting I would know if someone can test and have same issue. (@Masscot)

Please do not change any parameters with other software. For now I've set is transparent = True to windscreen and also windscreen internal for Raindrops inside kseditor then imported to whole model let we see if it remains there. Then I've totally redone wipers animation 40 frames, resized and rearranged.

Yay! No more black windscreen. Cheers chaps. I assume @JakubP 's link was the latest car (as that was posted most recently)?
There's a couple of minor issues that remain with the glass though - it'd be great if these could be fixed too:
1. the reflection/dust map seems to be rotated 90 degrees - the reflection is nothing like the dashboard of the car. It might be the right reflection map, it's just rotated.
2. the dust map is perhaps a little too opaque. Combine this with rain and it's very hard to see when driving into the sun.
3. the wipers look great with the new orientation but they leave a lot of water and drops unwiped, as if the rubber wiper blades need replacing. I don't know if this is a setting in the config but other cars (eg Aphidgod's Impreza) wipe the glass nice and clean with each sweep and IMO it looks a lot better.
EDIT: seems like it's the left-hand wiper (from inside the cockpit) that isn't wiping properly.
4. The SPOON graphic on the rear window should be visible from inside the car (needs adding to the internal glass) and be reflected in the mirror.

Great job so far though guys, it's all coming together very nicely - I love this little rascal.

I've been testing some more and it seems like it's the left-hand wiper (from inside the cockpit) that isn't wiping properly. I didn't realise it depended on how close the wiper is to the glass. That makes sense I guess but must be quite hard to achieve accurately..!

@Masscot I could no longer find them on the hard disk, fortunately telegram is extraordinary and the cars "modified" by me I had turned several months ago for tests to a friend, they should be these and with the right sounds, unfortunately I wanted to make only 1 car and 2 engines but I have not been able to do it, please try them and eventually we will implement this physics to your improvements

Thanks, I'll give these a go in the morning.
I have to confess though, I kinda like how the original car sounds and drives, and even how it looks from the outside (even if it is a little big... maybe). It's the interior textures, shaders and geometry, the weird steering wheel and the spooky driver position that rather ruin it for me. Oh, and the cathedral-like cockpit that has interior dimensions that the T.A.R.D.I.S. would be proud of.

You can expect more and more encryption and graphic upgrades since this is what literally AC has become. A bit disappointed with Ilja
on this. I don't want to come off as rude but AC literally has become an graphic wh.... like it or not was expecting Ilja to give us stuff like new game modes and stuff stuff like lap knockout, Time attack ect... maybe even a infected mode not sure how that would work lel. Was also expecting physics improvements to match RF2 and rolling starts but nothing came off that. Although i like graphic updates and stuff i think that Ilja can also focus on other stuff like an proper radio or jukebox system that can play mp3 files. Actual driver leg movement ect...
Can't AC be a bit more fun than the other stale sims for a bit?
I think that people would find a lap knockout mode more interesting than fancy grass practices that will burn your PC rig to an ash.

I would have to disagree with this. I'd definitely take GrassFX over a game mode I would try once and never touch again. I would absolutely love rolling starts though, just not more than graphics/photo mode improvements.

Guys... There won't be more kinds of encryption, how did you get that? It talks about supported models, not new ways of encrypting because everything must be encrypted.

Ilja also works a lot on many features, how can you be disappointed on someone making this all for free? If something hasn't been done yet is either because there isn't a way yet or because he focused on other things (where a monor part is related to graphic). What should AC improve about physics? They are related to the mods, what isn't there already isn't allowed by the game engine which you can't change. If you want good physics you need good mods where it was done properly.

First off i didn't say that i was disappointed with everything that Ilja
has done all i meant is that the way he is going is a tad bit disappointing he has done a lot of great stuff like better graphics even on par with GT SPORT sometimes a lot of CM features are welcome like proper weather, more car animations, dynamic rain, deforming tires, better screenshots ect.... However most of these are graphical improvements barley expanding the game. AC engine can be modified because of its open source nature and i feel Ilja could crack down on that as seen with the deforming tires. AC's physics engine can be a bit stale compared to Iracing,ACC and RF2 physics engine.
But these are just my personal views.

I play Spotify/Youtube playlists while I drive just load and start playing them before I start up a race and I can then in game control it with the media controls on my keyboard or my phone. If you have your own music files just play them then?

In relation to the rest of your post regarding Ilja's updates, its one guy working on what keeps him motivated at this moment which eventually results in free updates for the rest of the community, once rain is eventually made public I'm sure other things will take focus.

Well, these guys seem well behaved at their 'Sim Racing Party'...

Of course, it's only a matter of time before the food fight begins. Then once they're bored with fighting like that, things will eventually move into the 'Red vs. Blue' phase, where they start releasing fake 'leaked emails' and declaring civil war on each other over the question of whether classic or modern cars are more fun to drive – and whether everything written on top of their cakes should be encrypted.
