i am usually not the biggest modern open wheel fan, but this car is amazing. couldn´t stop to test its limits and it felt better from lap to lap.
I love all open wheeled cars, but the RSS Super Formula car is the most fun I ever had in AC. It does everything you ask and lacks just enough HP (compared to F1) to push it as hard as you can. To me it's like in between a F2 car and a F1 car. The Super Formula car should be what Indycar uses. I assuming it's an Dallara chassis.

Did you figure out the overtake system?

The removal of Overtake resources is not related to what you said.
It is because the author, BLUED_WORKS, has released v1.5 on X (Twitter).
I asked him and he asked me to remove the Overtake resource, so I applied to remove it.
I reminded him that I should be in charge of my own content.
I have told him what needs to be fixed and he will update it if he is so inclined.
He is more concerned with the accuracy of the surfaces than the graphics.
I am not involved in the v1.5 update.
Ah, wow, that's a shame - and a strange one, as he gave you permission to work on his Tokachi previously.

Hope things get patched up and you can work together to further improve the new version. It's a surprisingly great little track.

I haven't looked at the new one, but I will hold onto your version. Thanks for letting me know.

My adaptation for the Lotus F-Ford 1970 (generic) for my "Champions Career Mode".

The skins are adaptations (I couldn't find clear images, not even in a magazine I have with me that belonged to my grandfather) for the model in the "BUA Formula Ford Tournament" in Brazil, in the summer of 1970.

Team Lotus
1-Emerson Fittipaldi / BRA
2-Wilson Fittipaldi Jr. / BRA
3-Ian Ashley / GBR

It's a surprisingly great little track.
Also, the scene for the first ever win for a hybrid powered racing car.
In July 2007, the Toyota Supra HV-R, a hybrid GT developed by Toyota Team SARD, won the Tokachi 24 Hour.
Apparently, the Supra used an early version of the TS030 supercapacitor hybrid system.

Chivas has a version in AC.

Hello everyone,

is there a setting in Content Manager that let the AI cars produce smoke of spinning wheels at the start?
(I think there was an option somewhere?)
There should be quite a bit of white smoke when a pack of 60s F1 cars start a race…

have you tried that?

Yes all settings done, what I mean is at the Start, the AI cars produce smoke everywhere else, but at the start nothing. Maybe because they are to slow at the first metres (I thought I had seen a setting specifically for smoke amount at the racestart).

Well there's dobsina hillclimb where I usually drive stuff, it's around 7000 m in length and quality is fine for me. Hopefully that will do. Don't remember where I got it from though, found it on one of those ac sites ages ago
Have you tried my version?
Dobšiná Hillclimb (redux) - v1.0

It's only available in Practice and Race mods. You have an app in your task bar in game, "RSS.Supreme.OTS". You can activate it in game with your "KERS activation" button. This is in CM settings>assetto corsa>controls>buttons>miscellaneos>KERS activation. If you haven't set it up yet, bind it now.

Looks very promising. Looking forward to the next updates, especially since CHQ never really finished his version, afaik at least.
I was under the impression that Nukedrop's Jeddah was the best - and he is queuing up a LiDAR update for both this and Las Vegas.

I've never driven either of them. Is this not the case?

And as for ChiQui, I learned my lesson with Patreon with him. Flashy videos, interesting starts, project never finished. I "supported" him for a few months and got literally nothing in return.

I'm fine with people not finishing passion projects - life gets in the way, and things happen. That's fine. What's not fine is scattering lavish WIP videos everywhere and promising feature-complete projects. For money. Very much for money. As in, he was making hundreds of dollars a month at one point and not delivering anything - not even updates.

I'm not a fan of Patreon unless it's considered as a job and your patrons are your boss - and ChiQui is a principal reason why. I don't bother with any of his tracks anymore - hopefully someone will scoop them and continue building them, as it seems like from his most recent post that he is done with AC modding permanently.

anyone tried the rally mode?
Is it worth to load some cars and tracks?
I'd say so personally. You can use the rally co-pilot mod outside of rally mode, so you can just hop in any track with it and get automatic corner call outs, which I think was a game changer for AC rallying / hill climb etc (if I didn't know Nords already it would be a good tool to learn it lol).

Rally mod only works with some tracks (might need to have certain assets to recognize, idk) but for those the timing gates work and you get a linear map with stage progression, plus the call outs.

Totally agree with you. Also, supported him last year (his 2nd new fresh start or whatever he called it) and he was promising he would build a track per month + updates of the existing ones. He managed to get to 0.9 version Sepang pretty quick and that was it. Then it was more or less only promises and excuses for the next two months. And he would even complain why he doesn't get enough supporters!

I've tried both (CHQ & Nukedrop) and I find CHQ's a tiny bit better, but none of them is (or was at the time) Lidar scanned and had lots of inaccuracies (curbs etc)

I haven't driven this car yet, but when I checked it out in Content Manager the exhaust sound is coming from the engine and the engine sound is coming from the exhaust. It does sound awesome though.

The only problem with that is that the Super Formula cars are much slower, top speed-wise, than the low downforce and oval downforce kits' Dallara DW12 chassis. Not sure if you can trim enough downforce off the SF23 chassis. I think Super Formula cars would be perfect for F2 or something adjacent instead of the Mecachrome F2 lottery.
