I will update my post with my car choice and announcement of some sort
Yeah last season we only saw 1 merc on the field but the thing is great with a tune .
UNC Motorsports confirms second ATCC season.
With their financial plan and budget finally set for the new year, UNC Motorsports are finally able to confirm that they will continue to run the #16 GTR in the ATCC for the next season.
Team owner and driver Pubs16 has announced their return to backup their Group A Independent Team Championship title and are back with a determined team to get him in contention for the Group A Drivers Championship. Unfortunately last season prevented any real opportunity as vital championship points were missed due to the driver not being available to attend some clashing rounds.
While worries of the GTR being axed by the ATCC are put at rest, UNC remains as a factory independent heavily supported by Nissan and are excited to continue their GTR program within this series. Their GTR will be running Dunlop Tyres in the new Tyre Manufacturer Championship.
The team was also spotted testing their ATCC spec GTR at the Trial Mountain Circuit on Wednesday! Pubs16 had brought the car a long with their GT3 GTR in the team's transporter while at a test session for the GT Global series, spotting a perfect opportunity to get some fresh track time for the touring car.

I'm glad because I'm seriously considering it because of the noise more than anything!
is this still going? Haven't heard anything yet. I'm not going to announce a car before I know what specs and what tracks are running.
Are the organisers still with us?
Yes this is still happening. I've just been busy drafting up calendars and trying to find the best baseline specs to start testing.
start them all at the same weight, power etc. the test top speed, handling and so on
That's how one of my friends part of the ORA told me how to spec. Then you adjust to make them even basically. (I don't mean to tell you to suck eggs) (sorry )
We've got specs to build on from, so we are only really BoP'ing two cars (Mustang & Subaru) so we have a slightly easier job than last time.
haha, no worries. I just went through the process of balancing 9 cars to be equal to each other for the season to not start. It will run another time probably.
I do apologize fot not checking in here, I stopped getting alerts for some reason .
Anything I missed?
Nothing as of yet. But, I am making an announcement later tonight regarding the first event of the season.
I have the same problem with my alerts aswell.
The draft regulations will be released to the public on Saturday. Following this, everyone will be encouraged to test the specs and check the parity. The following week we will hold our first Pre-Season event at a yet to be determined time and track.
Gotta love the ATCC media
I might be able to get back on GT6 this weekend and probably get my car in good shape
For the upcoming Test, I will don a Marussia-themed livery, bearing the number #17, as a tribute to the now late Jules Bianchi.
RIP Jules Bianchi
Just heard the news as well, lost a great guy in the sport. Thoughts going out to his family.
rest in peace Jules
What would I see for a Subaru Setup???
I haven't had the chance to test the Subaru yet, but I'd imagine you'd find one somewhere in the Tunes section, just use it as a base and build on based on your liking.
Though I actually meant its specs. It's the only new car and the rest can test using their old specs but the Subaru can't.
Ah, test at around the Lexus specs if possible, since that's the performance benchmark for the other Group B cars.
If your looking at this thread and considering joining ATCC, I highly sugguest you to give it a go. It's a blast as @NW48 keeps everyone very active on GTPlanet with all the fun posts to read! This series has a lot of potentional Season 2 for ATCC could really get some hype!
Myself I'll let you guys know if I can join depending when you race and my schedule.
Thanks everyone! See you around!
I'm waiting for information on this series rather than a bunch of cars in a list and a load of rules.
If your using old specs for the cars put them on the current season post and if they change update the post.
I'm looking forward to this but it's taking a rather long time to get basic info such as a potential calendar and a preview of the car specs.
It takes time to get things to perfection. I can't just click my fingers and have everything done. I do have quite the busy life and I've had to work around it just to get this rolling. I will say that base specs and the calendar will be up this weekend, just like I said a few days ago. I do appreciate the patience among everyone.
And True Blue, please stay out of this thread and stop attempting to put this down anymore than you already have.
grow up, I haven't bloody done anything. merely looking, nothing wrong with that is it, so don't you cause problems ok
I wasn't the one who strolled into a former GTORacing thread just to like a comment that has a negative vibe to it. So if anyone needs to grow up, it's you. Now, let's not continue spilling the personal differences between us into the public light and keep them confined to the appropriate PM's.
Dont you cause dramas. Youll make it worse
Oh, so I agree with @GremlinWon that you need to put more effort and communication in, I was supporting what he said, so being young you learn from what people say and act on it. I'm not causing dramas. Only merely looking, so carry on with your series and listen to the advice of others
