Finally got a monaro, sounds so weak! What gives, my VTII sounds like it's got more guts, very disappointed, although I haven't driven it yet, just did the demo before bed...

Yeah man my VX too sounds better than Monaro. I have mine sitting @ 670bhp and it still doesn't sound great. Major disappoitment.

Put a sports exhaust on and it sounds awesome 👍. Stock LS1's sound ordinary in real life anyway

its pretty ridiculous the lack of aussie content. theres over 1000 cars and we are allocated less then 0.3% of the list.. i know Australia isnt bringing in the best sales from around the world but surely Australia would make well more then 0.3% of overall sales...its totally wrong how we are being treated..... We Australias need to get together and start demanding Australian Content for future DLC and gt games ... we just want our fair share and if we have a much higher sales percentage then the 0.3% why are we just sitting here takin it up the 🤬?

Time to gatecrash the Aussie party!!

I picked up both the Monaro and the Commodore, again I haven't seen the Ford yet.

Having driven several different Aussie motors around Brisbane a few years ago, I personally would love to see a lot
more Australian cars in the GT series. We've got Japanese GT, ALMS, Nascar and Touring cars....

BRING ON THE V8 SUPERCARS!!!! :D

Aussie here, But i hate both holden and ford.. Sick of beating them at the lights in my little 2l 4cylinder, against 6l V8s..

Glad they didn't add too many commodores would rage when i raced them..

Thanks for your 2c.
I could say the same thing about flogging them in my GTO, though I don't because the point of this topic is to discuss the positives that Australian's have to offer, instead you just make Australians look immature with stupid comments like that.
Old tip your parents would have told you, "Don't have nothing nice to say, then don't say nothing."

What about cars that aren't exactly "classic" or "typical" Australian but still Australian built. I'm talking Mitsubishi Magna (VRX,Ralliart), 380, Toyota Aurion etc.
Yeh, maybe not people's most sort after cars but heck, I could do without the Exa Canopy in the game or the Accord 89 whatever coupe, but it adds a touch of realism as they are cars you most likely have in your garage.

What about the latest Corolla, as it's not called the Corolla anywhere except Aus and NZ now.

The Toyota Aurion, Ford Territory, Chrysler Valiant, Mitsibushi 380, Magna, Austin Freeway, Ford Laser?

Bathurst needs to be included.
I'm a Holden fan and driver and would love to see cars like the Torana and W427 (which i am lucky enough to know the owner of one of the 2).
But i would also like the Classic Falcons as well. It would make for great online racing.

Anyone feel free to add me. I will be racing online once my G27 arrives.

Uhh big man just because you beat them at the lights (which I doubt) it doesn't mean they don't deserve to be in the game.

What car do you have btw? I highly doubt you would beat the new line of HSVs.

The old lady has an Aurion Sportivo. Far out that thing goes well. Got a decent amount of power and handles like a dream.

Yeh man, these sedans have alot of kick in them these days. I used to own a Verada, 3.5L V6 with 356NM of Torque with 165KW motor, went pretty hard for what it was.

It may cost $70,000 or so more, but it's got $70,000 more worth of stuff.
Your cr*py 2L Mitsubishi isn't anywhere near as well made as any HSV or FPV.
My Mum has a 2001 Evo and the seals are coming of, the floor cover is coming out of place, the CD player/Radio doesn't work and it has dropped a cylinder.

I doubt you can drag a HSV and beat it either. HSV run the fastest ute/pickup in the world, and most of the HSV's run the same 7LT v8 from the Corvette ZR1, which happens to be one hell of an engine.

You mean the old, out dated 5.7l LS1/2 ? where as the zr1 has a 6.2lt LS9, Them HSV engines are outdated american engines, and also weigh 400kg more then an Evo.. Your doubting the performance of a highly modified Evo.. Enjoy smoking it up while i AWD launch it..
