this already might of been ask but is GT6 going to have a B spec added..like GT5 I like once in a while just to watch computer race my cars learn its style on tracks
I wouldn't hold my breath for any more content. PD seems about done with GT6 despite what they may have "promised" us. Maybe I'm wrong... I hope I'm wrong, but we were told there would be monthly content. We got December & January, then nothing for February, March or April. The game has been out around 6-months and we have a whopping one additional GT Vision car. Oh wait, we got the beyond useless GPS replay feature, but still no B-Spec, Course Creator or other promised features. I've said this before, but GT6 has already sold to it's main user-base, so why should PD put any time, money, effort or other resources into a spent game on an outgoing platform? Extremely rarely has any developer ever come through on continued additional content promises... GT6 is an even worse position than the majority of those other games because it's on (as I said) an outgoing console. PD is going to concentrate on GT7 and the PS4 while GT6 support will continue to dwindle. Hopefully the content we are looking for is near completion, so we may see it as a big update in the near future. But if it isn't close or if there are problems, we may never see any of it. Just look at the back of your games cases... Nothing additional was promised there (only in interviews and articles).
TBH I'm inclined to agree, despite my hopes otherwise. I reckon PD are in a sort of crisis with GT6 and don't really know what to do with it now. As you say, it makes a certain degree of sense to just write it off and concentrate on the next gen version. Perhaps PD and Sony should consider cutting GTP in on any profits considering any interest in the game at this point is almost completely because of the community quality here. I'm now so far beyond the supplied content I'm interested in that I'm getting into the photo mode for the first time.Like everyone else, I would like the bugs fixed and the promised features implemented. But let's keep this in perspective.
What did we pay for GT6? $30-$60 USD? That will cover 1-2 hours in a cheap bar. In the 80's, video games would suck up quarters faster than that.
In contrast, how many hours have you spent driving, tuning, and reading about GT6 here? I suspect this incomplete game has given us hours of enjoyment (and frustration) at the rate of pennies per hour (or even per day).
We all want more--and especially what was promised--but it's hard to say we haven't gotten our money's worth.

I've never been a F1 fan; I noted but was not much affected by Senna's untimely death, yet I'm actually waiting to see if PD releases the Senna content on time this month or if they let that, too, fall short.
B-Spec can very easily be laid at the feet of PD's desire to make the most out of the credit DLC as long as possible before releasing content that makes it easier to earn in this game. But to simplify it to that point is so cynical and almost evil that the moment I know it to be true, I almost have to forever give the game up. It's there, and it's coming...but if PD makes it paid DLC this time, will you pay?

As for paying for DLC, GT7, etc? I probably will until something better comes along. But please understand that I'm a newby--I started with GT5 last August, so I'm not as jaded as some. Yes, I'm bored for a week between seasonals, but I'm also blown away occasionally by different aspects of this admittedly flawed and incomplete game.
We don't evaluate our purchases against other things that are irrelevant by comparison. PD set the bar high with GT1-4. It's only natural that people are disappointed when GT5/6 doesn't measure up by the standards that are important to them.
There's your problem, this is not a rational argument. The economics of the situation are not just pure numbers, there is emotion involved which skews the results. I expect to pay $6 for a pint of Guinness, just like I expect to pay $60 for a videogame. My last pint of Guinness was fresh, smooth, creamy and ice cold and that's what I'll compare the next one too. If I go out and buy another pint on sale tomorrow for $4 and it's a little skunky, not very cold and the glass isn't quite full, I don't say to myself, "Oh well that's ok because I paid less for it than I did yesterday so I win".I don't quarrel with the disappointment.
But you're out of your mind if you don't compare the units of enjoyment with other forms of entertainment. Frankly, that's nuts. If $60 is fine for 2-3 hours in a pub, why is it so awful for 200 hours in a videogame? I'm strictly talking about cost per hour of enjoyment--not expected additional future enjoyment, with which I share your disappointment.

Has it crossed your mind that those sort of races could well be added alongside B-Spec? You're right though. As it currently stands there is almost no point in having B-Spec as the races just aren't long enough. However, some people enjoy using B-Spec despite race length. For them at least, the current races and lack of endurance events wouldn't be much of a problem.So whats the point of bringing it at all?? The longest race in the game lasts 24 minutes!!!!
Its completley uselles if you ask me. Cuz there aint no races that you can use it. You only do 1 pitstop in S class at every race. And the race lasts max 25 min. So its complete nonsence. They should focus more on fixing the bugs than bringing uselles stuff that dont work.

GT5 actually touched on some of this as when you created a driver you could choose a profile based on certain attributes such as cornering, ability "at speed" (my quotes, not theirs), as well as temperament. By the time I was done with GT5, I certainly had specialists! When I saw B-Spec in GT4 I said "I didn't buy this game so it could play itself!". Boy, did I come around in GT5! With all the cars up for grabs, I wasn't mad about the help at all.I don't mind B-Spec for longer races, but I would like it a whole lot more if it were treated like an actual team management simulation. I haven't given it any real thought, so I'm not sure exactly what that would entail, but I do know the B-Spec we had in GT5 felt really shallow & unfinished. Maybe rated specialties among the drivers, like dirt racers or ones who are better at short tracks or technical circuits, etc?
