Hey guys, sorry I have been away for the weekend!

So, new system it is then, right guys if you want to change teams, your gonna have to contact people yourselves to try and grab their seat. :)

Have fun racers.

guys, i'm not sure my private game will end quick enough in time for S8. they're wouldn't be any chance of waiting for me would there? i doubt it :(

just checked and my game is about a week behind. looks like i'm missing out on S8. and i so wanted to take part to :(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(

bee,i didnt understand.
this season,if we want to change teams,pm then?and the new system?

Right, say you wanted my Honda seat, youd have to come PM me or ask me on MSN if I wanted to swap seats with you.

As for Season 8, the new system will be used before it starts.
;)

then, why dont we use the lottery this season, and the new system new season?
i dont care if i stay in this car,but its a little strange 2 seasons almost the same drivers/cars

Well we could use a mixture, use the lottry to determine seats, then use the new system on the new line up for season 8?

CCYoshi's 'Did You Notice the New Avatar? AKA I Have Nothing Exciting to Title This Really Long Titled' Race Report, Indianapolis, Season 7

GTPF1 S7 US Grand Prix Champion: Domingues, BMW
Bruno finally shows why he's always a threat when he's running, overcoming plenty of excitingness to win his first race this season! Started 19th, spun off after a collision in the early laps, and - as always - got screwed over by the mechanics, and still managed to get home first!

Silver Medal: Smith, Midland
There's something about Midland...the little team that could? Last year, Kawasie running a Midland pulled a stunning charge that took him to 3rd in the championship. Season 4 saw Hanon finish runner-up in the championship for Midland. Now Smith is heir to the miraculous Midland - scoring his 3rd podium of the year and putting him rather comfortably in 3rd place in the championship.

Bronze Medal: McLaren, McLaren
Gripe all you want, Bruce. But face it; even though you can't get a win you still nailed down 4 podium and run 4th in the championship. Not to mention a second-to-none qualifying average... Ran a strong race but faded at the end to 'only' a podium

Score!:
4th: Mason, BMW (Continues to show the power of the Beemer, driving from dead last up to 6 points in a clean race.)
5th: Dubois, Aguri (Not much to say - started close to the points, ends in the points. Finished in the points every race this season - when he's finished.)
6th: Butler, Williams (Another fighter from the back. Glad to have some points after a slow midseason.)
7th: Machiels, Toyota (Led a lap somewhere in there. A slow season for Toyota.)
8th: Horton, McLaren (Double points for McLaren. Dominated early but sank in the field after late race pit.)

Quick Exits:
Whitcomb (Lap 4): Tried to work up the field too fast and collided with a Midland, was sent packing into nearest wall.
Orchard (Lap 27): Came into turn 11 the wrong way (i.e. backwards) and went for a barrel roll, spilling parts over the track and bringing out the SC.
Little (Lap 41): Got bored of running around in the car and parked it on the beach in lap 6.
Kawasie (Lap 47): Ran a good race up until the 2nd pit, where he got distracted and forgot he was running on the road course, not the oval. Smashage ensued.
Hutchinson (Lap 62): Outbraked his 9th-placed rival straight into a wall.

'Mechanics on Drugs' Award: Davidson's Crew, Honda
-83% setup. That's NEGATIVE 83. Like, 83 less than zero. Like, 183 less than what most other people were running. Ended up 3 laps down in the end for a rather laughable performance. It's all been downhill since his win at Silverstone - party a little less over there!
(P.S. BMW Mechanics not applicable for this award anymore, trophy cabinet's filled up over there)

Defining Moment: Domingues passes McLaren, Lap 63
We welcome you back to the Bruno and Bruce Show. Here we see one man moving forward to claim his first win and show that BMW is back, the other moving backward. It must be a curse...?

(That's a good thing. I've probably jinxed it so you'll win the next one. Oops, counter-cursed. Sorry!)

I hope so... :indiff:

Minus 83? Impressive.

I'm back now though and looking for a return to form.
:D:trouble:

Woo! 2nd best lap in practice! :D

and sharky, this is only my first.... :) Am I a good-ish rookie? :D

EDIT: Can I be on Dave Smiths team next year... He's a cool teammate. :)

Yeah I know.... I just recently got much better with set ups. :) I'm glad I found this, its a lot of fun! *does a dance*

I use it regardless. Handy if the setup isn't posted in team talk and isn't already 100% - because you can then make improvements on it (even without ranges).

1st in BTCC, by 10 points (with 2-3-2 run).

Yes, but I did make a clean sweep of Oulton Park Sprint. Pole, win, fastest lap, and most laps led!

Final Thought: No Ferraris?
