I vote no. Because it's too confusing for me. I like it the way it is.

(Although personally, I wouldn't mind just a random reshuffle of everyone at the end of every season, and the only thing is you can't go to a team you've already been too, at least it gives everyone a chance at everything)

Bee

Now these can range from final finishing position, to beating a rival team, to scoring a certain amount of points.
:)

I'm greatly in favor of the "defeat rival team" goal, as it gives a driver at a B-team something reasonable to shoot for, i.e. SA vs. Midland, Red Bull vs. Toro Rosso, Toyota vs. Honda (not saying Toyota and Honda are B-level :p)

Yep it's confusing in text but I think everything will be alot clearer if it actually took place.

yeah Dave a lottery, where I think it was six people are chosen to move.

I like the new idea Bee. Count me in

2nd: Brad Horton

78 points

4th: Bruce McLaren

76 points
Go the McLarens! :D

target championship position based on the performance of the team last season. If you reach expectations you will not be fired at the end of the season. However if you fall below the expectation, the team will fire you and you will be left on the transfer market.
I'm divided on this whole contract thing. On one hand, I think it would add an extra element to the GTP side of the game (how about including virtual money? If you win a race, you get x dollars, if you win the championship you get xxx dollars, if you crash you have to fork out y dollars for repairs).

On the other hand, if players x, y & z keep exceeding expectations, they'd get to stay at their seat for ages...

What'd be neat would be a complete driver shakeup every season (take the amount of interested drivers, randomly assign them each to a team, etc.) but that would probably be completely insane, and maybe lead to team issues. Like McLaren probably doesn't want to pair with Dubois after this season :p
Of course... :grumpy:

8th: Dubois, Super Aguri (Got Bruce McLaren at the end again for the last point - but this time by force.)
:grumpy: :grumpy: Why me???

'The Bruno and Bruce Show' Award (aka the Deja Vu award):
Once again these two share the bad luck spotlight in the highlight reel. Meanwhile, McLaren loses another point to Dubois in the Aguri - it may not be as clean of a pass as before, but the ruling stood. Tough break(s)!
:grumpy:
Hey, sayboot, want to break into television together? I sense we could make bag of money with the "Bruno and Bruce Show"

Silverstone:
8th: Dubois, Super Aguri (Aguri racks up points one by one. Didn't have to use force this time.)
About time... am I wanted by the FIA or something? :|

Now, I was looking over the power ten, how many points do I have?

Most likely, 10-15.... :D

Hmmm, post 4425, on page 222, my two favorite numbers!

But seriously, how many seasons are in a year?

Ok heres the full 22 driver's points:

Haswell - 1/2/1/1/12 = 98
Horton - R/4/3/5/2 = 78
Smith - 7/1/5/R/3 = 76
McLaren - 6/9/2/11/11 = 76
Whitcomb - 4/R/6/3/4 = 75
Davidson - R/5/10/7/1 = 69
Hutchison - 5/15/9/12/7 = 67
Butler - 10/6/12/9/15 = 63
Chang - 8/7/R/2/14 = 61
Bathie - 2/17/11/R/10 = 52
Mason - 3/11/R/R/6 = 49
Paajanen - R/12/4/6/R = 47
Dubois - R/8/R/8/8 = 45
Henson - 11/10/14/R/13 = 44
Kawasie - 9/18/R/13/9 = 43
Taylor - R/3/13/10/R = 43
Keller - 12/R/15/14/18 = 33
Machiels - R/13/R/4/R = 29
Orchard - R/16/8/R/17 = 28
Little - R/19/16/15/16 = 26
Beyens - R/14/7/R/R = 25
Domingues - R/R/R/R/5 = 18

And doing this has made me realise I've missed Ash off the top 10! :dunce: Sorry bud.

Glad to see growing support for the new idea too.
:)

Horrible race with somehow a 13.5% set up.. :boggled:

Right guys and gal I need a final vote, lottery or new system?

I qualified second for the third time this season... why am I qualifying so much better than last season???
