hmm, i've had an idea

seeing as i'm honda's "third driver" for S8, maybe all teams could have third drivers

how it works is, they enter a private or public f1 2006 game, and they run with the team they are third driver for, and help them over the race weekends, whilst also giving them updates on how they are doing in their own series.

how does that sound?

So kinda like a second division? Well if anyone wants to make the league happen, go ahead. I'm sure I can find a good third driver for Williams. ;)

Then the top 3 could be offered a place in their team as race drivers next year?

Steven (LeSabre) would like to join too.

I guess that leaves him in Stupid Aguri.

i think thats a waste of time.
they will never "help" the team.
Well, they could help them setup the car, by giving them the setup values they had when they finished warmup to one of the drivers before that driver does their practice or warmup, they use them, see what time they get and adjust it accordingly.

it was a thought anyway. bottom line is, i'm third driver for honda. anyone who wants to follow suit is welcome to...

also, maybe someone could gather the third driver's fastest practice times and post them in a results post, like they do when showing practice times - show the third driver times with everyone elses

ok whatever, it was a thought. obviously, some people object to it, but i'm cool. i'm still gonna be third driver, and no one can stop me...

sorry matt i forgot i hadnt done laps, ive put the data up now...
btw 'nnick' is Nick Nikolakopoulos, teammate in another game,he told me about this forum but had no slot for season 7 so has been following the forum...

Bye bye to:
Lee Davidson (49 Points)
Blake Haswell (47 Points)

Big Mover: Bruno Domingues - BMW have appeared to have hit a purple patch with Domingues capitalising to (almost) perfection.
Big Losers: Brad Horton - Retired last race may not have hurt his championship lead, but it certainly hurt his Power 10 rating. Herman Chang - Suffering the heaviest drop this week after a poor showing by Honda.
Final Thought: Still no Ferraris or now Renaults, thats GTP BATracer for you...

Why do I do somuch better in Warmup then I do in Qualifying? But... 4th best lap in warmup. :)

Yes I have raced against them. Very good drivers, but they were lucky since I had no team mate (it is BTCC and I'm oponenet with the one he is 1st I'm 3rd, the other is running Touring 1st again) ;)

This is what fustrates me, that many games I joined I have to compete against others alone ....

Nick
