I'll have a slot open in about a month and a bit, if you have an open slot then, lets team up :)

edit: Queensland Raceway 1 has just been completed in GTP V8s. Try and guess who won.

Me. :p

Problem is, Lee finished third, so I made very little inroads into his championship lead :|

Yes, I should be leading the championship, but due to retirements, I'm not. :indiff:

As you can see, I won the Clipsal 500 round, and utterly dominated the Winton round :D

While myself and Mr Davidson dominate the championship, our team clear of everyone by a long way and currently 1-2 in the drivers standings:)
 
Best. Race. Ever.

The circuit was Hockenheim, the series was F1 2006, the car was Super Aguri, the race was the greatest ever.

On a sunny day in Germany, the gird looked like this:



As the lights went out, Hewitt stalled, dropping to the back of the field.



I was leading until lap 14 when Vansia, in the other Ferrari, passed me for the lead.



He pitted on lap 20, promoting me to 1st again. I pitted on lap 25, coming out with a 6 second lead over Vansia. When all looked to be going my way, however, I made a mistake on lap 28, and had to pit again.



I fell back to 5th. Over the next 20 laps I languished in the P5–P7 range, however on lap 47 there was a Safety Car, destroying Vansia’s 24 second lead.

As the safety car pulled in I was in P5, and straight away I was on the attack, moving up to P4, and then P3.

Vansia was demoted to P2, but I couldn’t get past. On lap 58 I dropped two positions to P5. The next lap I got past Vansia into 4th, I was now on the tail of my title rival, Hewitt.

On lap 62, Dias made an error and retired from P2, promoting me to 3rd. Then on lap 65 out of 67, the best thing ever happened:



The result:



I went on to win by 3.8 seconds.

Best.

Race.

Ever.

I now lead 80 points to 59 over Hewitt, with 6 races to go.
 
I'm amazed i'm still fourth in the GTP V8's...

I only got the first podium the other day.. Any way, consistancy is the key. The less retirements the better

Anyone up for a public game? My F1-86 just ended, would like to get a public game with a teammate for once. (Total laps turned by teammate in 2 public games: zero! >.>)

Warmup was great, just hope is stays dry in the race because I only have 1 good set of wets, now.
 
Ditto. 2x heavy wear, 1x light wear. But knowing Shanghai, we're probably screwed. Unless it goes storm on lap 1. :lol:

you think your race was bad. trendall ruthlessly took me out while trying to pass me on the first lap. phrase to describe trendall and his driving - rhymes with clucking brasscoal :grumpy:

Wow, that race sucked. The safety car destroyed my race. If there was no safety car I would have dominated.
