I might be able to rejoin you soon, Sony sent me the wrong disc back after the whole fiasco I had with sending me broken replacement as well! They've now agreed to send me a Bf3 copy once they receive the Blops they sent me, so maybe by the time BF4 comes out I'll be getting my game back :lol:.

Stuck in dead PS3? Sounds like a nightmare, I'd be telling them to send one out now, their fault for sending out the wrong disc, not yours. Be fun to team up with you when your back playing 👍

VEXD - Spawning on you last night was fun. Double sniping from high spot. I'm getting better, but moving targets with obstacles around them is hard. 42 kills with the SV98 now, so not far off the straight pull bolt you so recommend. When do you get the suppressor?

I told them about the disc to start off and they said fine, then they send me Blops after the broken PS3 replacement fiasco and say Blops is what they found in the PS3 I sent them and all records say so but as a 'good will gesture' they'll send me BF3 when they receive Blops back. I didn't bother getting angry about it, they clearly believed me but don't want to make it seem like they're pushovers just incase I was trying to rip them off.
 
Got the highest score in several team deathmatches earlier, every kill from an MAV. (I'm talking like 30 kills+) I've figured out just where you need to hit people at full speed in order to kill them. It amazes me how many people simply ignore the mega annoying death wasp when it floats right by them.

I've only been mortar'd whilst I've been in control of a mortar. Rarely see them, tends to be a reactive thing. Good tactic though, one to think about. Particularly at Karkand with that big building overlooking one of the objectives where you inevitably get 3/4 up there.

Mish-mash of games tonight, joined up with Blitz and co at Wake Island and ze enemy had a chopper who was 43-0 and the constant barage of stingers did nothing. I smelt 🤬 so went and found something less 🤬

Did get a good run in a Havoc at Kharg. Very good pilot helped me get a tonne of points in a very short time. Though battlelog reckons I only got 4 kills, swear it was more. Got 4 vehicle destroyed though. Unlocking some very useful bits for it.

Edit: Also, also. Those weapon progress bars in the customise section never update, or sometimes they do (like my Scar) but is actually about 60 kills down from where Battlelog says it is.

I am so comprehensively useless at choppers. I tried to learn on a Little Bird in a quiet CQ round but then a teammate spawned into the choppers and I ended up killing up both by mistake. :( I think i need to ride shotgun, unlock flares and then just accept some suicides to learn.
 
I hate MAV's with a passion, they really need to make it not be able to kill people. It's silly and completely opposite to the realistic experience they've tried to create.

Mike - VEXD will quote his post on you can practice it one of the co-op missions. He'll also be grumpy about it.

Not done any of the co-op yet, don't really want to do it with a random.

This. I only unlocked mine so I can kill other MAVs if they are spam-used on a map or if I get stuck with quitters on my team and end up in a lopsided 4 vs 12 route. Then I'll go roadkilling, but roadkilling whilst there is a chance of winning the objective... that's not team oriented play.

I unlocked the first handgun, then got irritated at doing it with random clowns and haven't touched it since.
 
Yeah I've done all co-op now. I've got all the guns, just a few trophies left if I feel like doing that at some point. The only random I paired up with and actually had a mic.... spoke French. I took French in high school but that was 4 years ago I had my last French class and all I could understand was un, deux, trois. I don't even know if I spelt those right haha.

Just had a game at Nosh where this one guy "AhOmElEsScHiLd" used a chopper to spawn kill us the whole round.

I managed to kill him once, but he went and got another chopper, came back and carried on.

In the end I was feeding him killz for the lulz.
He got me so many times the death screen couldn't count the number......

Had some epic conquest games earlier including one where I almost got MVP (was top throughout until just before the end and the MVP was on fire). Got raped on rush though XD
 
I unlocked the C4 today, and I've started to troll with it. Went on OP Firestorm in Rush, (I spawned as a Russian) and I put ALL of my C4 on the Russian-buggy thing, I drove to the road where the US tanks turn right onto, and about 150-ish yards away I saw a tank turning onto the road. I drove until I was about 100 feet away from it and I bailed and hit the button. BOOM! No more tank. :lol: Blowing **** up is so freakin' fun.
 
Played for the first time in awhile.. entire TEAM was held down on Op Metro by ONE GUY with a USAS with frag rounds. How much more OP can something be? Guess I won't be playing until it's nerfed.....
 
The Saiga/frag is equally OP. I think its mostly just the frag rounds in general. I picked up a usas with buckshot the last time I played and was quickly killed on metro well within range of a frag round.

Nope, nor an Ebot. It also has finite range - you can put it on a jet but you won't have the signal range to detonate it.

I've seen a ton of times where there is a jeep sitting unattended near a Flag, begging for someone to ride it to the next flag.

There is always have C4 in it though.

How are you killing with the mav. I try running it into someone but they don't seem to notice as if it does no damage.

Aim for their chest while standing and hit them at full speed, I've yet to kill someone in the crouch or prone position.

Mike, that was the best game I've ever had in BF3. I'm not 🤬 you. We were getting creamed/spawn killed in at Seine Crossing and I flanked most of the frontliners by going under the bridge and in the water.
The whole squad spawned on me and we managed to take out a flag, and neutralise another :D

Yeah I usually have some great games with Blackbird when I can play.

Also, this made my day.

I noticed you had amazing stats after a round where we got smashed back to deployment 👍 Very nicely done. I tried to take out those tanks with the mortar and clean up the guys covering the bridge, until I got into a mortar battle too.

Caspian was close, they just stretched us a bit thin and had a few good tank guys. I would have liked to stick around longer, but its my mothers birthday, so I had to skype. Will definitely keep a lookout for you in the evenings :D.

Nice piloting too - helped me almost unlock flares :cheers:

Parkour - It's the best way of taking out a tank. 3 packs of C4 and then detonate. I often don't bother to try and run away (scenario pending) as I know I'll just get shot. Tanks play such a massive part in the game, sacrificing yourself to take one out is well worth it.
