Weapon wise the SPAS is incredible, as is the M417. The AUG seemed a bit meh though which was disappointing but I need to give it more time.

I look forward to trying out the SPAS-12. I have enjoyed using both the 870MCS and M1014 quite a bit. Adding another shotgun to the mix will be nice.

Is the M417 more along the lines of the SKS, Mk 11 Mod 0, or M39 EMR? I am really hoping for SKS because it would be great to have another weapon along those lines.
 
So the maps either don't load, or I lose connection. Tonight I'm really pissed off.

Is the SPAS pump-action or semi-auto? How are all the guns? I'm thinking of getting the Premium since Armoured Kill is a must for me, and End Game/Aftermath look alright.

I was using the 417 like an SKS on the CQ maps, it has 20 rounds plus 1 in the chamber so I just assumed that. However I've yet to try any real sniping duties with it to truly compare.

Gun master sucks, did what I needed for the assignment and I'll NEVER play it again. It's just a bit stupid all in all, barely any skill involved at all particularly at the penultimate level.

yes in my experience it is even better than the sks.

Already done that. My PS3 was fine while playing GT5 today. These problems arose after I downloaded the patch for BF3.

And the problems are only with the new maps.

Oh ok ,im one of the lucky ones who hasnt experienced a problem, i would keep an eye on the battlelog forums as there are quite a few people who are having problems there to.

Actually, whenever it puts me on an old map it's always an empty server as well.

That is what I wanted to hear. I have been wanting another weapon to use in Recon other than the SKS. I really like the SKS, but I like to play with a variety of weapons.

You tried a firmware update on your router? Can usually fix bugs like freezing / connection drop outs...

I have not purchased Premium yet, but I am leaning towards doing so. I am really interested in trying at least nine of the ten new weapons.

It seems to me like the M417 may be a better gun at range (I used an ACOG and it was doing just fine and I don't have a bipod yet!) than the SKS but it's to early to call it. I'm trying out the JNG 90 now which seems fairly solid, the patch to change what the tracers look like through the scope makes sniping much, much easier now you can see what you're doing :lol:.

Also, pretty much the SQDM of this pack. I did it first go and pulled 2nd of 16 but it was blind luck and the level I got to was near impossible without it. Awful, awful game mode.
 
A little late to the party but I thought I saw an AC-130 in the video, I wonder how it'll work... I'm guessing you choose to spawn in it and if it gets shot down it'll respawn eventually.

Can you play normal Conquest on the CQ maps, or is it that other new mode only, like the Karkand maps inexplicably and annoyingly were? I suppose it makes more sense because CQ is quite slow paced but whatever. Strongly considering premium, I really want to know what the bonus content is but if nothing else I'll get an £8 discount on the DLC which I'm pretty much definitely going to get anyway.
 
It is only new modes on new maps, but Rush or CQ would be stupid on these maps without a doubt. There is a TDM option along with the new stuff, but that's it.

Meanwhile I'm having a horrible time unlocking the bipod for my JNG 90, very irritating and I have to use the scope I don't like which is putting me off the gun completely.
 
Not digging the sound of CQ to be honest. I really wish they sold weapon packs and map packs separately :indiff:.
 
Battlelog doesn't recognize that I have Premium for some reason. Like it shows me the guns and assignments, but it shows me being locked out of them and I can't access the videos or anything.

I've heard people have needed to log out and clear cache and log back in or some such thing. I don't know for sure yet as I'll be purchasing it when I get home this evening. Hope there are some Asian CQ servers.
 
Looking at the AC 130 pictures again. You won't be able to fly. Just two gunners will shoot while the plane auto flys around the maps.
 
Seems like some things still need fixing. Flashlights don't seem any different at all. I got one shot killed by a jet's guided missile when there was absolutely 0 missile warning. Lock on tones don't give adequate warning as every time one popped up, I was dead before the tone changed.

The FAMAS works great.
